December 2, 201411 yr A thought just occured to me... and filled me with horror... :Nail Biting: Now, people won't be able to tell Kyle off when he tells them to sign their posts! Yes that and no-one can tell him that he is acting like a Mod now - because he is one . Congratulations Kyle - a coveted position indeed! Lots of hard work that will need to be done and I think that many people don't realise the sacrifice, hard work and dedication that goes into being part of a team like PMDG! I can personally confirm that I have learned a thing or two from you over an extended period of time and always enjoy your tutorials and and videos. I have no doubt that yours is a valuable addition to the PMDG team. P. S. - Kyle, since you are on the team now how long before we see some previews of the 744v2 . December 2, 201411 yr No doubt a deserved appointment, in terms of technical knowledge and commitment and hard work during the beta processes. But I'm going stand up and be counted as saying that, in all seriousness, I hope there will be some adaptation in attitude now that Kyle is a formal representative of PMDG. Having a 'laugh with all the boys' and gung-ho camaraderie is one thing, but on occasions, people have unquestionably been spoken to rudely and inappropriately. As an independent forum member, I guess that was Kyle's right. As a formal representative and part of the PMDG team, hopefully a bigger picture can be sought, in terms of the importance of applying blanket respect, courtesy and professionalism, when providing support. That said, deserved appointment - congratulations. December 2, 201411 yr I was about to say "SECOND!" but Jeff beat me to it. Thanks Jeff. "If you're not first, you're last!" Third, or according to Ricky Bobby, last...haha. True...can't argue with that sight though: IMHO, these are great news. Congratulations, Kyle! I believe this is a great decision. Having followed your posts in this forum, I ever enjoy reading them, specially the way you answer the questions to the users having issues with the PMDG products. Cheers, Gerard. Gerardo Cabezón

B) Guess that's why there has been a 'waiting period' for Kyle - the time between adaption and appointment. Pooping is over; back to Kyle's appointment party. What happened to AVSIM
December 2, 201411 yr Congratulations Kyle! You certainly bring the right skills and attitude for this kind of position. And contrary to some, I hope that your demeanor and sometimes tounge-in-cheek approach to this forum do not change by much! Enjoy your new job! "A life is like a garden.
