December 20, 201411 yr Steam include me out I had a F1 car racing sim that was run with the Steam setup, for some reason win7 kept crashing ended up having to do a complete reinstall. Then I had a good idea, as I liked the F1 I decided to run it on my dedicated FSX computer that i.d just uprated with a Scan 3xS bundle complete disaster again, spent ages going back to restore points and windows repair before I got PC running again. So Steam not for me, but my son uses it without any problems. Brian

December 20, 201411 yr "And their newest feature is steam broadcasting: Watch other people or Your friends via live-stream when they play a game or allow Your friends or all people to watch You when playing a game. Dovetail is going to release FSX on the Steam platformn and is bringing it to the attention of millions of (new) pc gamers this way." I don't understand why I would want to do that. Is this FSX for Twitter? Joe Brown
December 20, 201411 yr I don't understand why I would want to do that. Is this FSX for Twitter? Steam broadcasting is not FSX specific. It will work for all games once it's released on Steam very soon. John doe
December 21, 201411 yr Commercial Member I don't understand why I would want to do that. Is this FSX for Twitter? Your not sure how to operate an aircraft. You log in find someone flying your aircraft or someone you follow. They stream direct to you exactly what to do, how to do it etc etc. Theres one for starters. Lewis - A2A Simulations

December 21, 201411 yr There is no way I could read all this thread but I wanted to say that I love steam. They have done very good things for the gaming community. They have actually changed the industry altogether in a beneficial way for the consummer. And last but absolutely not least they have done immensely for gaming on linux, something Ive been interrested in the last 15 years. I am in my mid 30s and my first computer was a Atari Ste1040 and I am convinced that steam is the best thing that has happened to this industry since the early days of video games or at least since I first started.
December 22, 201411 yr Steam is first and foremost an anti-piracy tool that has probably saved PC gaming from complete collapse. Obviously, it is also a software store. Third it is an Internet community dedicated to gaming and lastly it is an app updater and launcher. It's the Swiss Army Knife of PC gaming.
