  1. jetsmell fire me a PM I can sort any forums issue you had. thanks, Lewis
  2. A few of the A2A Community went, experiences here and of course they are pretty similar to yours Chirs; http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=49328 I managed to miss the Airline2Sim stand somehow so i'm a bit narked as I really wanted to speak to the guys there. Is it me or does the day just go super super super fast!
  3. Another great show year, the 100m queue at 10am was interesting to see as myself and youtuber Mantock Productions pulled into the first overflow car park thinking we might be a little early! But as with last year I think most go early and then do the museum so going around the stands in the afternoon really does allow you some time away from the crowds to talk to people. Happy to meet so many customers and community members and already looking forward to next year!
  4. Yes sounds like the simconnect just wants to be run. Also make sure you run the latest Accu-sim updater to auto grab and install the latest updates; http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=41279 thanks, Lewis
  5. Thanks guys glad you are liking the simulation, remember for those moments when you just want to get up and fly withou worrying about a pre-flight etc just use the shift + 3 DAMAGE button to turn it all on or off. Perfect for when the kids are taking a nap and have time for a quick 15min flight! ^_^ cheers, Lewis
  6. Fly some $100 burger style flights, its the most common kind of GA flight for private pilots, a flight from the base to somewhere you can get good food, sometimes an attraction near the destination airfield also makes it an attractive airfield itself. An hour or two there and same back makes for a nice day out in the real world and a good fun flight in the land of sim ^_^ cheers, Lewis
  7. Yes we model Hypoxia as you go up so certainly be careful as you fly.
  8. Lewis B replied to a post in a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I'll just leave this here as simmers expectations of what rain is like when flying an aircraft tends to be polar opposites of reality; FSX taking the windshield rain effect out could be argued to be more realistic from a pilots POV than the weird FS2004 style effects that looked like a car driving under 60mph and not at aircraft.
  9. If malware on the fsxinsider website was the cause then i'm sure there'd be more than one person reporting it amongst the hundreds of thousands with the sim installed though
  10. All DG do is now own fsxinsider so on the start screen on FSX the embedded fsxinsider website now displays what dovetail put on the site, so it'll be all updated news, hints tips and heads up on my DLC. Saying this is going to cause the issues you have described is akin to blaming the furry dice hanging from your rear view mirror for your tire blowing on the M6.
  11. I use FSX Steam edition, not a tweak needed here.
  12. Sale all ended. Thanks for the support guys and girls. Accu-sim customers remember to check out for and run the latest updater as we like to keep things as updated as possible with updates and free upgrades. The latest updater is here; http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=41279 thanks and happy flying, Lewis
  13. Cracking shots that airfield looks great!
  14. Hello, as noted on the website ALL support is via our support and community forums. thanks, Lewis
  15. Hey Rick, make sure you run the updater after that Accu-sim for the B-17 is installed also. cheers, Lewis
  16. Hello Ladies and Gents, just a heads up the sale will be running until the end of play Sunday. Oh and the latest Accu-sim updater to make sure you get all the extra and updates we put out for customers is as of this date here; http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=41279 cheers and happy flying, Lewis

  18. Yes sorry for the issues accessing the domain some may encounter. We are on the new server 100%, just got to wait a little now whilst everything propagates through the magic that is the 'interwebs' At the time of this post though I believe just about everything should be sorted and if not already will be by 24hours time. cheers, Lewis
  19. Very nice screenies, not a massive fan of the photo real personally when in sim flying but it sure does make for some pretty screen shots B)
  20. Sorry to hear this Tom, thoughts with you and your loved ones. As others have said, don't give up.
  21. It looks to be breaking down the barriers between, trying to open up console players able to play with PC players. Its natural progression given the route the industry is on. Steam are also doing this, but they are doing it like right now, opening up the steam platform to Linux and SteamOS might not seem much now but it has potential to really change things down the road.
  22. Be careful, you're not considering the already announced Windows 10 details. If MS have there way, Xbox gaming and PC gaming wont exist. It'll just be 'gaming' on a windows platform. Have a Google for the latest Win10 features/details to be announced. cheers, Lewis
  23. I see people have posted about how best to move aircraft and keep things clean etc, I'm going to pick up on something else you said in your post that I've also recently come to the realisation of, and its this; If you treat the sim as you would the real world its a lot easier. The trouble many simmers have is they get a sim get a 737 etc and then start from there, often filling in big knowledge gaps with assumption or just leaving the gaps. Now if this was the real world, long before you get anywhere near a 737 you have to get your PPL, and start with the basics of flight and avionics etc. I fully recommend seeing if you can go this route in sim, I'm in the process myself at the early stages and I'm seeing my simming experience go up ten fold with immersion and fun. Learn how to fly seat of pants in the sim, and work your way up just as you would in reality. Not only is it more realistic but you can go at any pace you want unlike the real world, theres little $$ to get in the way unlike the real world and as you work your way up you will be a hell of a better sim pilot + understand the aircraft you fly and not only understand but comprehend how and why things are done. The other bonus is that in sim land we can go from relaxed realism simulation to high fidelity with a re-load to a different aircraft, and that includes the use of the default aircraft. Theres tons of resources out there to help simmers fly in this realistic manner, I mean like millions of web articles and pages and documents that can be used, and never underestimate youtube, the video tutorials and seeing things done there right before you so you can pause and rewind is golden! Also one of the most underrated aspects of MSFS, the learning center, itself filled chock block with information to digest. The overall knock on effect is that when you do build up to one of the the advanced tubeliners such as those you mentioned you will already have a good grasp of the basics and beyond. Hopefully helping you be a better sim pilot and getting the most out of some pretty powerful high end simulations. Anyway theres some random thoughts from me and how I'm going about solving the problem I picked out in your post as someone who is also suffering the same! thanks, Lewis
