April 23, 201511 yr All these wonderful packages work in P3D as well  Just make sure you also install the wake fix for version 2.5...
April 24, 201511 yr Hi Ian, not sure what you want to achieve, but if you just want to study the ships or take photos, here is one way to do it: If you haven't got it already, install the freeware 'BOB' from FTX. You'll find on the bottom of this page: https://fullterrain.com/freeware Start at any airport near the ships Adjust zoom to your liking (If you want the ships to look proportionally OK, don't go under 0.8) Check in your control settings which keyboard buttons are bound to Slew movement (forward/backward/sideways/up/down/pan) Like Captain Henrik said: Hit 'Y' to go into slew mode Use the slew buttons to move around, find the ships and study/screenshot them. I normally go 3-4000 feet up and start following the coast at a whopping 2000 knots. At that speed you'll find the ships quickly. If you see a small moving object down there, dive in.. If you want "real" photos, ie from a cockpit or outside a plane, you could use the same technique. Just make sure engines are started when going into Slew (otherwise you would have non-moving propellers in your photos). Hope that helps. Thanks Ole, I'll give that a go. Cheers Ian Ian S
May 2, 201511 yr Can't wait to fly into Chicago and Milwaukee over Lake Michigan! Robert Schumacher My PC: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW, i7 6700k OC'd to 4.6, ASUS Rog Maximus VIII Hero Mobo, 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM, 2 Intel 750 Series SSDs, Creative Sound Blaster Z.
May 2, 201511 yr Author The release is getting closer... Testing the routes for the Great Lakes at the moment... But a bit of dynamite would be appropriate for some of the bridges - the ships sails nicely on the rivers even in default FSX, but the bridges stops them... You might see some screenshots tomorrow, but I am also installing P3Dv2.5 from scratch with all the fun that gives...
May 3, 201511 yr Author One step further... The AI traffic routes for the Great Lakes are now done and being tested - below the route map. Apart from the Welland Channel Locks, the locks at Montreal and a few other places I think there will be traffic more or less from Trois Rivieres to Duluth, Thunder Bay, Chicago, Toronto and more...

May 3, 201511 yr Author I just started the clean-up of the US West Coast routes - that will give much better flow of ships and much more variation and I will fit them so they also match ORBX.
May 4, 201511 yr Amazing, the US West coast is my favourite orbx area and your ships will be the icing on the cake; can't wait, many thanks for all the work that you have put in developing this top class product, we are all very lucky to be able to use it:) Regards John (Bird) 4.6GHz OC, Windows 10 Creator, 16GB RAM, 780 Ti SC 3GB, SSDs Thrust master HOTAS Warthog, Virtual-Fly TQ3, CH Pro Rudder Pedals, 40 inch 4K Philips screen, CV1 Touch, AFS2, P3D4

May 5, 201511 yr Hey guys, i LOVE the boat traffic a get with these packages all around the globe As i have a free Hong Kong Kai Tak scenery, i was wondering about a frame rate drop sometimes when taking of from RW13, sometimes not. I changed settings and options, but now it seems to me, that a certain ship model is responsible. I can reproduce this Frame rate drop every time i have the AI_Hyundai_Container_366M in sight, the Hapag Lloyd Texture. Does anyone else see a frame rate drop with certain boat models? The area around Hong Kong is full of boat traffic, but my Frames are stable at 30/s, but when this model appears, there is a drop. Is there something Special with this model? Keep on going with this fabulous work! Greetings, Matthias Ryzen 9 7950X3D; MSI X670E; 48 GB DDR5 Ram; NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super 16 GB
May 5, 201511 yr Author Hi Matthias, I never noticed any issue, but I checked the model - even if it is one of the larger ships it has less vertices than other models e.g. the cruiseships, but there was one drawcall too much compared to what should be there... I have recompiled the model and the extra drawcall is gone... I send you a link in a PM - if that solves the issue, I will include the updated model in the next package. Best regards and thanks for the feed back. Henrik
May 5, 201511 yr WOW, thanks a lot! That's a quick response. I just finished the download, but may i ask you to do the test flights tomorrow? It's really late now, and i have to do some surgery tomorrow  Will Report as soon as possible! Matthias Ryzen 9 7950X3D; MSI X670E; 48 GB DDR5 Ram; NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super 16 GB
May 6, 201511 yr Hello Herink, hello community,I also currently have a ship in the pipeline. This is the "City of Hamburg", one of the two Airbus transport vessels for A380 fuselage sections. Yet lack the tailgate, the complete lighting, anchor and some other things. Even the tests in FSX and P3D still on the agenda.I hope I get the ship ready in time in order to send it to Henrik for release of the new package. Grüße / Greetings aus / from Hamburg (the most beautiful city in the world) Manfred
