May 18, 201511 yr So, lights are fixed now? The Witcher series is not "FPS rubbish", had to be said. Agree - on the not FPS rubbish ;-) looks awesome! Thanks and Regards, Ken Dolbey
May 18, 201511 yr P3d has to be able to run in Dedicated Full Screen Mode for SLI to work, right now P3d does not run in Full screen mode hence this latest driver has no SLi profile, same goes for ppl using G-Sync with your expensive monitors you too will have to wait for LM to make P3d Dedicated full screen mode. Release Notes GPU usage limited with Stereoscopic 3D enabled, despite games running in 2D. GPU stays in P0 state after you quit game if you use ShadowPlay with Power Management mode mode in NVCPL set to "Prefer Maximum Performance" Steam Overlay does not work on some Optimus configurations Firefox crashes when starting up on NVIDIA GPU on Optimus systems Quad SLI Titan X missing "4 GPU alternate rendering" from NVCP Added SLI support for the game World of Warships Fix texture shimminger in World of Warcraft Some GUI text from Grand Theft Auto V is not rendered in left eye in Fixes lights in Prepar3d Rick This one i miss in the release notes on Guru3d..... Do we still have 1st of April !? Carsten U
May 18, 201511 yr So, first he has to get out an update of P3D. Don't think so, I think you mis-understood. My comments were that LM have been working with nVidia for some time going back a few versions (since 2.3 or earlier) ... adjustments have been made along the way to what we have today which is v2.5 12945. I don't know exactly what version nVidia were testing with to come up with a profile, but I doubt a new "hotfix" or "version" will be required ... I would expect just a driver release and/or profile release which "I think" profile releases are done thru GeForce Experience? (but not sure) So it's possible we'll get a new driver release, then a profile release distributed via the GeForce experience process ... I think, so don't quote me. Cheers, Rob. Did you get this information from engineering at nVidia? Cheers, Rob.

Now that the lights are confirmed working, I'm downloading and giving it a go. Neil Andrews. Fight or Flight - YouTube | Twitter
May 18, 201511 yr So just to confirm, the wait is not over? This is not the driver off all mothers? If it ain't broke, i fix it until it is...

Now that the lights are confirmed working, I'm downloading and giving it a go. It's actually the second time they mention it. The release notes for 344.11 had this: [GeForce GTX 780 Ti][Prepar3]: Some triangles are missing from the terrain. [1525813] Of course they misspelled it that time, so this is technically the first time they list "Prepar3D" in the release notes -
May 18, 201511 yr Neil I look forward to your feed back. Haha Cheers Dave! But don't get your hopes up, I may just add more hot air!. I'm not an SLI user of course (just a single 970), but I haven't noticed a difference either way. No better, no worse. But this is absolute first impressions, I need more testing obviously! There appears to be more options in Nvidia Inspector although I haven't upgraded the drivers in a while so I'm not sure how many of the options are new. In NI, there's options to select how many GPU's you're using for SLI. There's SLI_GPU_COUNT_FOUR aka Rob_Ainscough_Mode Neil Andrews. Fight or Flight - YouTube | Twitter
May 18, 201511 yr Remember those people that said 'Well, you'll never see P3D listed on a Geforce driver update because it's a *simulator* not a *game* *snort!!*' this one's for you Gotta be the longest ever wait for "I told you so" ... 6 years?! haha Can't believe they don't have SLI_GPU_COUNT_EIGHT ... didn't someone here have 4 Titan Z's (8 GPUs)? My 2nd Titan X arrives tomorrow, so I can't test out SLI tonight. The 970 in my test box has worked VERY well even at 4K ... bang for buck the 970 is winner in my book. Cheers, Rob.
May 18, 201511 yr Folks, I can confirm that the airport lights issue is fixed, but strobe lights on Carenado planes with SLI enabled has issues (flickering). Also, with this driver I noticed some micro stutters. x-plane 10.35 broke completely. I reverted back to 347.88 which is so far the best driver I had for P3D. Cheers,
May 18, 201511 yr Seems there is an SLI profile in there. This is the Nvidia default profile with the new drivers. With this issue: 0x080040F5 (Daylight, Evolve, Monster Hunter Online Benchmark, Squadron 42 - Star Citizen, Ryse: Son of Rome, Lichdom: Battlemage, Prepar3D, Far Cry 4) I logged in briefly and do not see this particular lighting bug. I used the PMDG 737 and KISP. The lighting issue seems fixed for me. Possibly better performance but I didnt do any extensive testing to back this. May 18, 201511 yr With this issue: That looks very much like shader cache issue ... did you delete your shaders folder? i.e. C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Shaders Also, I've found using DDU utility (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) provides best possible clean driver install and removes all prior "adjustments" be it NI or NVCP. But I also don't use NI any more, no need for it. Cheers, Rob.
