October 7, 201510 yr Author Mine unfortunately was unable to connect to X-Plane.Running latest XP and build 030 of FSGRW.Data port 49000 set correctly as well as IP and XP folder. Dave, I didn't touch the port, just set the correct address for your XP installation by pressing the small row of dots and the Browse function opens up. You need to set the aircraft at departure aerodrome and the in FSGRW you select XPlane from the dropdown menu and select inject weather. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

October 7, 201510 yr Moderator Some comments over at x-plane.org about this (In the shout box) I am using FSGRW with SMP2.0 and works really well. Reduces the drastic weather popups and transitions are really smooth. I used this with FSX before and it is a truly good weather engine.

I didn't touch the port either but I wanted to confirm the settings were okay. Dumbfounded as to why it wont connect!
October 7, 201510 yr Author I am sitting at YSSY and the change in weather was fantastic. I could see puffs of cloud here and there, then I selected inject weather and it all changed, looks way more realistic now. Am very happy to have this, will do another test flight Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

October 7, 201510 yr Ah! And BTW: can it properly inject precipitation where it is reported, because most of the time either default weather, NOAA or FSRWX don't inject rain or snow :-( Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
