FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40

Featured Replies

I'm a little confused how screen shots will help you decide if a weather "Engine" is good or not? Surely static screen grabs of weather is only going to show you how well the weather "Rendering" package can display any given weather?

First impressions, it seems to have removed that awful sudden weather change.... Need more testing though....

I would love to see some pics, along with the METAR it's trying to depict.

Everything is going to be heavily influenced by what sort of clouds are being used of course, but some images along with what it's purporting to depict would be of great benefit!

I'd also love to know how it handles precipitation.  One of the things that ASN has spoiled me with (in FSX, of course), is the ability to fly into / out of precipitation depending on cloud cover.

Mine unfortunately was unable to connect to X-Plane.

Running latest XP and build 030 of FSGRW.

Data port 49000 set correctly as well as IP and XP folder.

Found it - Kaspersky AV is blocking FSGRW, despite the exe being a trusted app.

If I uninstall KAV it works fine. Grrrr.

Uh Oh

I feel my wallet twitching lol

And Skymaxx Pro 3 hasn't even been released yet :)
