FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40

Just noticed in their website, FS Global Real Weather is now available for X-Plane...you need to have X-Plane version 10.41 for it to interact properly.

FS Global Real Weather is now available for X-Plane 10. If you already own the program, it is a free upgrade. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

can't find it on their site, still has older versions

It auto updates, you get whatever version is there, install and the installer will set the current version. Then you tell it what the correct path is for FSX, P3D or XPlane.

 

Start the Sim first, aircraft at the departure aerodrome and then start FSGRW, works really well

Well, currently there are some limitations in X-Plane. However, we have worked closely with the developers of X-Plane to get rid of some of these limitations with version 10.41 - we now have global coverage (both surface weather as well as upper air conditions). Using SkyMaxx Pro this already gives very good results. Further improvements on the X-Plane side are being discussed with the developers and we will certainly release details about that when we have more information .

Just completed 2 flights with it. Fantastic. It tries really hard to eliminate the sudden pop up of weather around around and almost succeeds completely. Considering the XP limitations, this is a fantastic result.

 

Wind transitions are also very good.

Mine unfortunately was unable to connect to X-Plane.

Running latest XP and build 030 of FSGRW.

 

Data port 49000 set correctly as well as IP and XP folder.
