  • Well 18 pages of beating up a Dev, cat calls and mostly neg comments. This thread should be posted and anyone new wanting to sign up at AVSIM should be required to read every last post prior to being

  • I also don't feel that anyone is "beating up" on the developer. There are many, many threads where an add on is discussed and pros and cons are addressed by the forum members joining in the discussion

  • I never said that is was wrong to question or point out things that are not working correctly. The rest I stand by.

If there is a fs9.exe in there, delete it as well.

If you go to page 126 of thePF3 User guide you'll see how to set up an IFR flight. On page 131 is a flight plan from LIPZ Venezia  to LOWI Innsbruck. It shows a cruising altitude of FL240 stepping down to 9,500 QNH to establish on the localiser for rwy 26. Because this is an IFR flight with SIDs and STARs you won't be vectored. For vectored flights just make sure that the wypts in the fpl avoid anything sharp!

Still no activation email but I re-downloaded and it now works. Strange as I did create the database files earlier.

Anyway now I can load a flightplan and get atis.  Weirdly I cant get past push and start though. It says contact ground and even tells me the freq but every time I tune it and press zero it asks for push and start and the reply is to contact ground when ready to taxy. Run out of time for now but Ill try again tomorrow.

You have to acknowledge the push back with the "roger" key ("\")

You control GSX like normal.  Get ready for pushback like normal (request tug).  Use PF3 to request pushback.  Once you have permission, release the brakes, and GSX pushes you out.  Once your pushback is complete and you're ready to go, call PF3 for taxi.

I've registered on the forum but not received an activation email. Not in spam folder either.

Requested another reactivation email and that hasn't come through either.

Can someone ask Dave to check if there's a problem please?

I noticed it says the atc sectors have been reworked, can anyone confirm if Toronto Centre is now called as such rather than being called Edmonton Centre?

Yes.  The Canadian control sectors have been reworked, and Toronto Centre is there!

Hi,

I am also not receiving forum activation. So does anybody know what is missing from the Demo version compared to the full version? I have done a couple flights with the Demo but run into issues with vectoring and AI planes being told to enter runway while I am on it.

Wondering if this has anything to do with the Demo not having full capabilities.

Thank You,

Paul Goodman

You're limited to 200nm flight and there only a few voice sets. It also pauses the sim every 15 mins. Otherwise it's identical too the full version. That from the website.

It seems this addon uses a radio system of its own...? With a screen of its own to contact ATC? Does that mean you can NOT use for instance the radio in the GTN 750 to contact ATC?

You can use the radios in your aircraft, or your hardware radios (saitek, Goflight ect) the separate radio utility included is for those who would like a radio stack displayed on another machine via WideFS
