March 6, 201610 yr Thanks Ron I will check it out. Greg Greg Morin Commercial ASMEL Instrument CFI Beta Tester i Blue Yonder, Flightbeam and Milviz
March 6, 201610 yr HaHa, I hate when that happens. By the way, we just put up a revised installer for this plane which fixes a bug in the clock and adds better P3D Flight Planning along with ASN weather integrations for those interested. Are you saying with ASN installed, radar returns will appear on the MFD ??? (don't toy with my emotions) :Shame On You: Quote

March 7, 201610 yr Yes sir, we trust that owners of ASN will be pleased although we still think sim weather radars are rather inaccurate.Read the ES FAQs document after redownload reinstall for more. Toggles on/off via MFD WX button on the display controller that’s to the left of the PFD. Our thanks to Ed Wilson for this bit of value added work at no cost. Ed we crossed postings..

March 7, 201610 yr Vince, maybe you do a few screens as we don't have any ready just yet. Anyway, enjoy.

March 7, 201610 yr Commercial Member Ed and Ron.... Perhaps you've both lost the ability to read... I strongly suggest that you do READ that whole page... the items in question would be... works with ANY and ALL WX systems, including ASN, REX and the default WX systems and does so correctly. Everytime. Then there's the fact that it will be able to be DIRECTLY integrated into your (that means YOUR) aircraft systems and not as a popup... (while the end user must still purchase the product of course). It's super simple and effective. The ASN WXR is a toy compared to this. Ron, what a pleasant surprise, I wanted to thank you for adding support to ASN, I just purchased the CX2.0 and will be looking forward to lots of fun in P3D I hope that ASN integration will be added to your future products, the previews on FB are looking fantastic, again thank you very much for the change of mind! Best regards, John.
March 7, 201610 yr Collin, Ed made the post. Speak directly to him. I stated nothing regarding REX Weather. Think twice, and read posts fully, before castigating me publically about anything FS related. Further to the point, let's all undrstand that REX and ASN are competing products and that you apparently have an partnership interest with REX. That being the case, you are hardly welcoming to us as possible recruits for REX Partnerships, which we believe might be beneficial for Sim Enthusiast everywhere. I was considering making an inquiry with them but this fiasco does not bode well.. John, you are most welcome. Future WR plans are not fully set at the moment. We are toying with the idea of including both ASN and REX but time will tell.
March 7, 201610 yr Commercial Member Ed and Ron.... Perhaps you've both lost the ability to read... From the web site: The WX Advantage Radar will be freely offered as a customizable gauge to 3rd-party aircraft developers. I don't need a gauge. A gauge would be of zero value. To further clarify... from the web site: The add-on developer can, for the first time ever, modify not only the color, texture and text, but also the model of the gauge to fit within their paradigm and methodology. The WX Advantage Radar will come in two versions: a 3D version of the gauge which can be easily placed within any virtual cockpit, and a 2D model will also be available as a popup gauge. End-users may also make modifications to the gauge to fit their own preference. So... I'd say I can read pretty well... And I don't think my post was derogatory in any fashion... so chill. You just insulted HiFi in that post... and that's uncalled for as well! Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
