Whatever, that is my observation regardless of your 'experience'.

The blueish far distance haze that RSP is able to make I now have directly in 3.3.

That's great news most frustrated part was with 3.2 and ASN happy they solved that one waiting for the hotfix

before I make the move further all updates in place :-)

Hi Gerard - what does that mean?

Visibility in the far distance now looks very good.

Also no weird haze borders between 20000-37000 ft.

Whatever, you obviously hadn't set P3D and your drivers correctly then otherwise everyone would have been experiencing the same issues.

Hi, I also do have shimmering with ORBX in 3.2. Would you be open to sharing your settings, that eliminate this problem? I for one would be grateful!

I use ASN with 3.2 and don't have any weird haze borders...?????

Bob,

Take a look at the Hifisimtech forum and you will find what I mean ( support and P3D )

The only way I have found to reduce shimmering in 3.2 and 3.3 is using NVI 4xSSGA. I think the FPS hit from NVI is a bit less in 3.3, so we're making progress.

As for VAS, I am getting pretty much the same numbers in 3.3 as I did in 3.2. However, I did a flight in the UK with the ORBX region enabled and my remaining VAS really dropped. When I turned off the region the VAS at the end was better. The regions do soak up a lot of memory, both in 3.2 and 3.3

Do you still see the occasional flickering of cloud shadows on ground textures?

The Vas issue is with certain airports Aerosoft EGLL a good example

Yes, I do. Wonder if the shader mods (PTA, RSP) effect that also.

Just because memories can be short at time - to all those who are/have been bashing LM for this, that and anything elase except global warming - I ask a simple question -

When was the last time you saw this much open dialogue with MS?

LM is listening and they are responding.

Just sayin.......

That's true, if my memory serves me right, Microsoft didn't even have an official support forum where the developers participated directly.

It's funny how some lose perspective.
