There has been a post on the steam forums from DTG stating that they are indeed working on 64bit fs platform we will have to wait and see.

Hi Aimee,

Martin mentioned a while ago that there would be news planned for  QTR1. We are approaching the end and still no news.

Any updates planned?!?

Blessings

My hope is the partnership with ORBX will bring better scenery to the new sim one of the top scenery designer's on flight sim.

That would be great for airports, but I would like to see some photoscenery with autogen of different regions available as DLC.

The focus for us is developing the best possible platform so everyone can fly the way they want to. The last decade or so in the history of flight simulation has brought forward some amazing talents & we are keen to work with as many of them as we can to bring a wide variety of awesome content to the new sim like we have done for FSX: Steam Edition!

Trust me, we know

In all seriousness, the end of Q1 is the timeline we have been working to. If there are any delays I will let you know, but we aren't anticipating anything (touch wood!)
