Well It is pretty close to what you have in Xplane , but i am talking about the wings seesawing during windy conditions on take off . 99% I crash. I just can't take off

And there's that overdone sensitivity in the rotary wing flight dynamics, making ANY helicopter axially roll on it's back just with a slightest "heavier" application of cyclic roll, something that makes X-Plane helicopters still very far from what we have, for instance, in ELITE and DCS... and even in Flight Gear

???

The Mi-8 in DCS appears quite maneuverable (although I don't know the realism settings used in the video):

If I compare it to this X-Plane Mi-17: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/33062-mi-17-v5-xp10-beta/

I get comparable maneuverability in the 3 axes, provided I turn off (fail) its artificial stability. The X-Plane Mi-17 appears to have even less sensitivity when its artificial stability is active.

Moreover, it's well known that many X-Plane aircrafts (even most payware ones) don't use custom radii of inertia values... I'm not so sure it's X-Plane's fault...

Native language Portuguese here :-)

Native flightsim... Well.... that keeps changing... but it's slowly converging to something well away from XP or FSX and derivates...

While I understand Laminar's introduction of XP11, and welcome the already mentioned updates, which look a lot better than how it is right now, truth is I will calmly wait and see where it goes...

I usually skip one X-Plane version, after disappointment with the previous one... Skipped XP9 ( only used the beta version all of the time ). But I would like to be able to like XP11.

I beg to digress.Because I use VR exclusively I have migrated to x-plane from fsx and p3d in view of its 64 bit benefits.I feel x-plane is the way forward for VR simming.

Well, those maneuvers are OK to me. What I was referring to is the ability to perform a full axial roll in any helicopter ( without having the SAS on ) in X-Plane 10.

This wasn't the case in XP9, at least as far as the demo I used during that version allowed me to try...

Try it yourself Murmur, first in Xp10, then in DCS using the uh-1h or the mi-8. The uh-1h not having SAS is closer to a non SAS heli, but in the mi8 you can also disable the SAS.

I still think this has something to do with your settings or the controls you're using, and not an inherent flaw in X-Plane's helicopter flight modeling.

I just don't have this problem with any helicopter, including the ones without SAS like the Hughes 500 or Bell 206. There is no way I can do anything close to a full axial roll with my controls (Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS). Some models are twitchier than others, but nothing comes close to that degree of roll authority from the cyclic.

Is anyone else here experiencing this?

what i found in XP helis was torque felt a bit too much , you know the one when you use the collective and the heli spins opposite to the rotor , OK OK I agree that i am comparing it to DCS helis as i have no real world experience and DCS is the only which can be compared for helis.  I had that roll sensitivity which has disappeared after extending the stick. The AS350 flies really well.

Wow the Cirrus vision jet looks nice!

Just got to fly it a few months ago IRL!

New images from Xplane 11's default aircrafts on LR's website http://www.x-plane.com/2016/11/x-plane-11s-default-aircraft/

Interesting to note that no panel screenshot of the Cirrus Jet is shown. Does that mean it will indeed have a new G1000, but that's still too unfinished to show? Or does it mean that it won't have a new G1000 and they don't want to show it? :D

That's a nice lineup of default aircraft. I could nitpick that they're not including a bush or vintage tailwheel model, but there are plenty of free and payware models out there.

I'm excited about that S-76. Kudos to Laminar for including a default helicopter that's more than just a basic trainer. I can't wait to fly that one.

Have to agree, this is looking pretty good! Is there any date planned for release?

They are targeting November's holidays season and speculations are around thanks giving day/black friday 24th and 25th but nothing official.

Maybe dont want to show it now, but according to their website many GA aircrafts now feature the G1000

Thanks, looks like I have to start following XP11 development now.
