X-Plane 11 Coming November!

Thanks...When you say Alpha....which version. I think it is up to 2.0.1.21. I know version 2.0 is a free 10 day download...The 2.0 is in beta as of end of December 2015...

Sorry for all the questions.

Bob M.

My bad. The P2A is in Beta not in Alpha :)

You download the 2.0 and then the update. It won't conflict with the trial timer.

So when is this thing coming out already!

If you mean Pilot2ATC, its already out and available.     http://pilot2atc.com/                           There is a forum page for it on this site.

Its a great program, ATC comm via your headset and computer speech recognition in your computer, flight planning, maps, charts, voice training, comm radio control, surrounding airport ( 25 - 50 miles) frequency look-up, ICAO look-up for charts, ATC chatter ( user can change) etc. Great manual, and the support by Dave on AVSIM is superb, updates frequently.  10 day free trial.

Congrats Mike, I'm sure you're not bored with X-Plane to contend with.

ATC: Yeah, it's OK. He's not hungry.

God we will never have the good old days again when Mohawk, Allegheny, Southern, Eastern was flying the blue skys. When Piedmont disappeared as well as many of the others, an era was gone. When US Airways goobled up many...it was never the same. Trained on American sabre Computers at DFW many times. My only claim to fame is having dinner and cocktails with Frank Borman when he was president of Eastern Airlines lol...old well...thanks for letting me ramble... Have a great day everyone!!!!

Jude, Thank you. No, I have a lot more time now to fly. I'm an equal opportunity flyer using all of the major sims. I still suck at WWI aerial combat in "Rise of Flight".

Nice! I kinda hate Cessna's but this sounds cool and this might become my default plane if I get XP11. I also liked how the sound quickly but gradually changed when opening the doors: in P3D I also get different sounds in some planes when opening a window but the change is instant and never in sync with the window opening or closing: it clearly is a different sound that is triggered instantly. I always notice that and find it (slightly) annoying. The sound in this video was great. Little touches like this help a lot to make things more immersive!

never in sync with the window opening or closing:

AFAIK, the only GA planes where this is correctly modelled in P3D are the A2A planes.

Nice, this is one of the features I forgot about that was mentioned during the presentation. I wonder if they also got rid of that horrible screeching sound when taxiing?

Oh, and the deer too... But watch them still include them just out of humor.

Yes please, tired of having a whole group of deer just chilling straight in the middle of the runway all the time. I like having wildlife on, but not completely in the way every time.
