June 9, 20178 yr As bean_sprout already said: People reporting better fps usually had some remaining configurations in NV Inspector and/or Nvidia control panel. On a driver update everything Nvidia-related resets itself to factory settings which can for sure be a good thing :) Regards, Sebastian

June 9, 20178 yr Author It could be a bug related to the old driver which has nothing to do directly with Prepar3D v4. I reported my issue here in multiple other threads that my graphics card cooled down when I had crappy 17 - 20 fps in LAX or NYC. This problem is gone with the new driver. I get 27 - 33 fps now in these areas on full autogen and my graphics card runs at 68 - 70 °C (100 % Core usage) instead of only 50 °C. So there were definitly a problem here, what is gone now. The last driver 382.33 was clean installed also, but maybe something else was wrong, absolutely possible. Since Windows 10 messes around at Windows Updates with drivers by reinstalling them its not a big deal. You can test this when you sort your installed programs in control panel by "installed on...". You will see programs show up installed today or 3-4 days ago even you did not even touched these programs for weeks. For example right now it shows I installed Skype today, MS Office and Teamviewer. Same happens sometimes with drivers that windows update just re install them silently when security updates coming in.
