FMOD coming to X-Plane today!

Featured Replies

I don't know how many of you follow the great, free "Zibo" (named after the author) mod for the default 737-800. It essentially improves the default plane to payware quality and depth. On top of that, today the FMOD extension is about to be released, bringing a complex 3D sound pack to the plane using the latest FMOD technology (and making PMDG planes sound like a tin toy).

You may follow the release here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/111305-boeing-b738-800-modified/&

Here's a video of the FMOD sound pack:

Awesome sounds, especially the engine. Really impressive.

Oh man, the terrible sounds for the 737 is one of the reasons that I haven't been able to enjoy x-plane.  This may be a game changer, no pun intended, for me.  Wow.

Sounds really great, can't wait to try it!

😱😱😱 wow, just wow. Many thanks to Audiobirdxp
