What will be the next airplane from PMDG ?

I had to remove the Navigraph Simlink from my computer.  I was crashing my 777 to desktop at the same spot over Hudson Bay and in troubleshooting I disabled the add-on.xml that added their dll to P3D and problem went away.  Besides, I'm an old pilot and I learned how to follow my flight on charts decades before we had moving maps and I consider them of limited value.  Much better to always maintain your situational awareness and not rely on gadgets but that is an opinion of an old aviator.

Anything that increases SA has substantial value. I learned to fly with charts before GPS existed in aviation, but that doesn't mean moving maps are of limited value. They're only of limited value if they don't work - as in your case. Simlink has never given me problems.

I reckon PMDG might do a helicopter, only because then it would stop people moaning about the wingflex not being realistic.

I'm not sure Alan...  I can imagine this... "Have you SEEN that main rotor on PMDG's new Sycamore? It's got more coning angle than an ice cream van full of 99's... "

Maybe the next project will be the comm button for the PMDG 777.

Stop. Don't be like the person who bugs PMDG to fix the bug if the N1 increasing during takeoff at every possible chance he gets. Also, please sign your posts with your full name, first and last.

Thay already have j4100

They are making it compatible with Prepar3D as well now. I presume they will also improve some stuff in the currently available, FSX version. :)

I would love to see the original "Queen", the classic 747-200, specifically because it does NOT have a glass cockpit, but good old-fashioned steam gauges.

Back in FS9 days, my most-used aircraft was the Ready For Pushback 742. It was fun to fly, and to emulate the way things were done in the 1970s - 80s version of the beloved 747 - navigating across the ocean with the 9-waypoint CIVA INS, managing generators, fuel tanks and hydraulics manually from the flight engineer's panel. It made long-hauls less boring.

Unfortunately, the RFP was never officially updated even for FSX, much less P3D. Maybe I'm in the minority, but if PMDG ever did the first-gen 747, I'd pay any price they might see fit to ask.

Yep, I am gonna buy the J4100 for P3Dv4 once it is released.  They gave the clue, so we can assume that is the next product coming soon (along with 747 expansion)

I have been checking the PMDG forums multiple times per day in anticipation of seeing a pinned post from RSR about the JS4100.  I am yet to see that post.  The suspense is killing me...

It probably won't be a release announcement.  Next one should be a beta test phase announcement, hopefully.

I am about to repurchase the PMDG 777 base and expansion packages for Prepar3D after a long period of procrastinating from getting my final precious Boeing out of FSX… and I'm already hyped about the JS4100… Even though I won't be able to get it until next year at the earliest in my predicament.

Gotta get excited about any PMDG Bird…

I think I have all the Boeings I need.  I really don't need each variant of every plane.  I'm happy with the 737, 747, 777 and QW787 - oh we'l have a 757 real soon!  I'd love to see a military jet that can drop bombs and shoot missiles that actually blow up scenery.

Then get DCS World or something.
