Here I have “2” versions for my triple view setup :

1 TE NL photo scenery + TE NL AG + TE cvx + Fs Global Ult / no shadows / water off / AG very dense / lno AI / ocked at 20. Now I can do sightseeing at 220-240 knots - 4500 ft

2 TE NL photo scenery + custom AG ( selfmade ) + TE NL cvx + NL2000 3D objects + Fs Global Ult / shadows on / water high /  AG very dense / AI / locked at 25 . Now I can do my regular 737 flights

Custom AG (selfmade) sounds insane to me! And I'm not that faint of heart tinkering with MSFS/P3D last 18 years. Good for you, Gerard!

It is less dense , but from 5000 and upwards you cannot notice it . But a total of 554 mb compared to 1.59 Gb is improving performance...

I am using the Realair Lancair now with GTN750 and VeryDense Autogen but texture resolution set to 1m .

4K and my SLI 970´s setup is holding @25HZ/25FPS VSYNC ON, very well even with ASP4 and some shadows.

Texture resolution in HD makes the VRAM my worst enemy as it sometimes goes above 4GB. Might wanna try LOD 5.5

That's quite the generlization! That's your opinion.

Personally, I have always used PMDG/FSLabs/Aerosoft etc., tubelineres without huge issues. Of course, it's hard on the system.

Nowhere is it stated, that the two is mutually exclusive.

Cna you share that AG at all? 😮

And for me.. the NL2000 3d objects perform worse usually. WHat do they add comapred to the once form ORBX?

Ja , I am Dutch..

The AG is a mix from 3 freeware AG sets which I mixed with AG Merger. With that program I have choosen the best trees spots and buildings spots per set and combined/mixed them together.

This page is an official LM document, does setting UseGlobalTerrainView=True help your performance in heavy scenery? https://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/prepar3d/getting_help/advanced_configuration.html

 

In prepar3d.cfg change to 0 the lines about virtual reality if you do not use VR, does that give performance help?

Hello,

It was missing the greenhouses modeling in that scene...
Here it is, a small addition created and offered by France VFR (also NL2000 compatible) and it is immediately prettier and more realistic 🙂
