I still can't seem to buy the Freighter with Paypal. I don't feel secure using a credit card.  Anybody else still having this problem?

Oh yeah.  Very familiar problem.  I bought the JustFlight C-46 Commando last year for $15, a cheapy christmas present.  Still haven't installed that thing.  Too busy.  I wish I could have 30 hour days, and not require sleep.  I'd get so much done.

A friend has a pair of old-school Oakleys from about 1990.  They have moderately-thick purple frames...they look cool, in a strange way.  Who knows, they might be worth $1000 now. heh.

I was able to purchase the Freighter last night using Paypal.

Does this add-on play nice with FSDreamteam's GSX2?  I know Captain Sim has their own custom cargo loader animation built into this, but if you want to use the loaders from GSX or the dock loaders built into FSDT's Louisville scenery, does it work?  Or does CS' implementation of their own loaders make third party ground handling a problem?

OK, I'll answer my own questions here.

As of now, there is a FedEx and a DHL livery for the 757SF with RB211 engines, and a couple of other strays.  No UPS liveries or anything for the PW variants just yet.

The freighter does work fine with the GSX cargo loaders.  One trick, if you set the load using the FMC prior to GSX loading the acft, set the first 3 pallet positions to empty in the CS loader so that the pallet animations at/near the door don't conflict with each other.

I had to switch my Payapal primary method from Checking account to Debit/Credit for it to work for me.

Yes.

The trim values the fmc give me still don't seem to be right as of the most recent patch. I have a problem with all these expansions when the base product still has unresolved issues. I know people want their freighter variant but it puts a bad taste in my mouth. Especially at the high cost that they want for this plane and its  expansions.

Myself and others are anxiously awaiting for someone to do a UPS 757-200F PW repaint but it seems all the love is for the different versions of the DHL and a FedEx repaint.  Can we get some UPS love 😁

The trim values are in the FMC menu depending on weight.  I have found that they probably have no affect but then I have not tried to enter a value like 5.7 (which is way off as to what they recommend in the setup).  I do know that if you do not setup the values correctly in the menu payloads, you will probably land too soon and that's disastrous if landing on 28L or R at KSFO.  You will land on the bank and the landing will be abrupt.  If set up properly though, you will land perfectly by using the trim values they recommend.  I'm only upset I have to manually enter the trim values as hitting the "Request" does not do it on the FMC pages.  If you want perfection in flight simulation, you will not find it in any addon or simulator.  If that's what you want, then you should not be involved in this hobby as there will be no enjoyment.  Personally I am having a whole lot of fun with the CS757.

The cost of the aircraft and expansions are not affordable to many but I think the prices are right as developers need to be paid properly for their intellectual property.  If it is too expensive, then one should not purchase it.  There will be no joy.

Yeah, nothing there again on ACE today.  I finally took matters into my own hands and edited the PW2040 UPS livery that was already there for the pax (base) version...I used GIMP v2.8 with the dds plugin to edit three of the texture files to plug the windows and it now passes muster as a UPS Pratt-powered SF.  I also fixed the backwards N number on the starboard side of the FedEx livery and made a FedEx PW version by transplanting the basic white engines from the DHL repaint of the base pax version.  Unfortunately, since these are edits of someone else's repaints I can't share them.

Hopefully the repaints will start coming in over the weekend.

To be honest, I'm not surprised there aren't many paints.

Not many painters are willing to fork out the $$ for their asking price.
