December 19, 20205 yr Anybody else notice the inibuilds jetways no longer working in v5? They don't seem too intent on fixing any of the many profiles that are now broken in v5, and they're not super helpful about it. Anybody got something working?

I have not noticed anything so far that doesn’t work, but then I haven’t needed them as much since I’ve been trying to stick with sceneries that support P3Dv5, many of which have their own SODE jetways. Are there any particular profiles you found not to work? January 14, 20215 yr I have had this installed for a little while and didn't notice until today when I tried to do a medium haul flight into the place that the ILS RWY 30 is broken, I am not sure exactly what it is, but the glideslope is wrong, it seems like its way lower than it should be. Anyone else seen this, or know how to fix it? Cheers, Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

Anyone else seen this, or know how to fix it? Cheers, In airnav.com KOAK RWY30 glideslope is shown as 3 degrees. Now you can go into ADE, and load the stock KOAK, and see if its RWY 30 gs is also 3 degrees. I assume you know what ADE is? Airport Design Editor -- can be downloaded for free. You load the stock airport, then double-clock on the ILS green fantail in ADE, and it will pull up properties for the ILS...including glideslope angle. Another thing you can do in ADE is compare the sim location of the localizer with its real world location. I use Google Earth to find the GS or ILS transmitter and compare them (lat / long coordinates) of where they are in the sim vs. real world. You will find some that are off by enough...to really mess with your approach. Edited January 14, 20215 yr by Mace Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

All airports and ILS navaids in FAA jurisdiction have data available free at https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/aero_data/ (hint: Click on eNASR Browser). This data includes a lot more than you need to correctly place and configure runways and ILS components in ADE. I also use Google Earth, but for placing the PAPI's correctly and setting a correct length of blastpad. The NASR data will include runway displaced thresholds as well.
