June 12, 20205 yr Commercial Member Venezia, Italy Just my two cents: they are starting to get some color shading from satellite images for water, wich is pretty nice. The big Cruise ships are the same as the 3d photogrammetry ones, therefore there won't be room for AI ships, wich is not that nice :(

So I wouldn’t give up hope just yet. They could be static of course but that would be a bit strange. If I had to guess, it looks like an island that is underwater some part of the year. MSFS' source may be different than that shot. Either that or the fact that it's dark in color, surrounded by dark water in the sat imagery means the AI is not classifying it as land and is putting a mask over it.
