Oh dear, this is frustrating. I have posted this issue on the LM forum, but the last time I posted on the forum, it was over a week before I got a response, so I hope some of you guys on Avsim may have some ideas. I posted about this problem back in 2018, after moving to 4.4. There was no problem with any other versions, just since going to 4.4 and now 4.5 the issue remains. To summarise: it is only apparent on photosceneries and photoscenery textures. It happens across every addon I have, including Flytampa, Orbx, Simware etc. The issue has been tiresome and has made me consider binning P3d all together. Before doing so, I decided to do a complete reinstall of P3d v4.5! With more than 150 sceneries it was going to be a pain. I started last weekend, also deciding to keep addons and things to a minimum. So no Envtex or shaders installed. And hey, let me bang my head against a brick wall once again... the same issue has reared it's head again. This is clearly destroying my flying enjoyment. Has anyone any ideas about this? Here are the screenies which are self evident...

Yes, it looks like the bloom setting.

Nope, it's nothing to do with any slider settings or any single scenery. HDR is off. No shaders. Fresh install. It is apparent on ALL photosceneries.

No probs. Thanks for the suggestion all the same. I need to add that I'm not alone with this oddity. Over on the LM forum there are quite a few who have reported the very same anomoly. There's a substantial thread, but as with far too many of these kinds of problems, to date it appears to be unresolved.

Hi Dave, but that would need HDR to be active and I don't use HDR. 😥

Have you tried changing some settings in the nvidia control panel, like gamma etc.?

Monitor calibration or settings?

Have it too. Reduced it by turning on simobjects receive shadows. But that counts only if there are shadows. Aeroaoft EDDF has it also...LEPA with Photoscnr. and so far and so on. Completely washed out

If it's not Bloom, then I would look at your monitor setting Howard. Google calibration and do it in a very dark room. Gammer, brightness or contrast need adjusting.

Monitor calibration doesn't help for me, too, and I tried everything else. Would be happy to have it as dark as your pictures look here(!). I had to set it so dark that X-Plane or any other program were nearly unvisible on my screen: suboptimal solution. For me the anomaly reoccured after any addon that had HDR set to on (my fault after several new P3D installations).
