No such restriction in this set of posted terms - though there's the expected ban on posting or revealing anything about the sim itself. October 24, 20196 yr Today's update is now out on the FS site and .... lol they are clearly reading this site now. Emails still being sent out ))) Hello Lionel and team. Some donut posted his DxDiag with 2 x TitanX cards and 24GB RAM. He now has 1 x RTX2080Ti and 64GB RAM. Please search for him and make him feel special ) Edited October 24, 20196 yr by b737800
October 24, 20196 yr Well, there is the line "You acknowledge that everything related to this Program is confidential and should be treated as confidential until such time as Microsoft releases it". Legally, they could easily kick you out of the program for sharing you got in, on that line alone. Someone also said this in the MSFS Facebook group, whether it's true or not I don't know but; [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

October 24, 20196 yr I doubt that will kick guys out for saying they got in the alfa program, but publicly commenting, posting pics or videos stuff tied to MSFS will have consecuences. They should really have included that in the acceptance e-mail - since I (and a lot of other people, I'd guess) looked only at that. There wasn't even a link to the terms, so you'd have to go to the Insider site on your own initiative to hunt them down. It's possible that different parts of their operation aren't talking to each other (i.e. one is pumping out e-mails, the other is posting rules of engagement). I'll be happy to close off communications if and when I'm told to. Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery

I do agree, the point should have been clarified and pointed out in the email, if it was important people didn't share they even got in, but they have covered themselves in 'legally'. I doubt they would kick people out for being excited, think they are more concerned about testers not sharing screenshots, videos and all the bugs. However, just a heads-up that you are technically going against the NDA by sharing the information. Not saying it isn't valid, just that, as a practical matter, they should have flagged it, since it's not likely to be at the top of anyone's mind, especially in the first rush of getting accepted. I agree they probably won't be concerned about disclosing the simple fact of being a tester. But anything about the sim itself will be off limits. If they want to bust me for disclosing that I'm on board, they'd absolutely be within their rights. In which case.. it's still been a fun afternoon. 😎 Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery

There was no mention of not being able to tell you're in when you signed up for the tech alpha and there's nothing in the e-mail either. That line is clear about not being allowed to share anything but it's not clear at all on whether you're allowed to tell you're in.
