February 7, 20206 yr Maybe Asobo were on a virtual flight from China, to France and the authorities got hold of the footage and quarantined the whole Devs team as the video was so life like the government wanted to take no chances, so we'll see them in a fortnight. Yes, US government wants to be sure that this simulation does not come into enemy's hands. ASOBO has to conceal too many places so they are late. 😉
February 7, 20206 yr Actually Insider Area works on my PC (Chrome) but no on my phone (Safari). Weird.
February 7, 20206 yr Sad news, oh well I hope they can do what they intended to as I'm curious to see what they are having trouble with.
February 7, 20206 yr If this is supposed to be a Discovery series update on Airports, maybe they were intending to showcase EKCH Copenhagen, and then got the news that the airport had been closed, and the site converted into an outlet for large women's underwear, and a sausage factory? I made it a ritual on Fridays to get up more quickly than usual, rush to the shower straight away, make coffee and sit down to go through the latest update. This turned those miserable Friday mornings into something to look forward to and made having to go to work less frustrating. And now? I‘m tempted to call in sick and go back to bed. 😅 Withdrawal symptoms. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
February 7, 20206 yr I'm glad I never stayed up beyond midnight last night waiting for the update, it's the first time I haven't waited up for the update, maybe subconsciously I knew something was up at MS/Asobo's end. February 7, 20206 yr Insider website is most likely under Microsoft's control. Enter the site's IT infrastructure plus Microsoft marketing people. General information on development is under Asobo's control. Enter Asobo's marketing people. They were going to release more info about partners. Enter partner's marketing people (and lawyers). In my experience, when you get a whole bunch of marketing people's fingers stuck in the pie, plus IT issues, you typically get....missed deadlines. Or put another way, multiple companies and continents often leads to unexpected logistics issues. Simple as that.

Wasn't expecting that for sure. I know they don't owe us anything but I sincerely hope their next updates will make up for all of this. This could have been worse, imagine the update was live in the insider area and no one could loggin to see it... Following a link to another report, I found I was separately logged in to another Microsoft support account. I logged out of it and was then able to log in to my Insider account.
