Yes, US government wants to be sure that this simulation does not come into enemy's hands. ASOBO has to conceal too many places so they are late. 😉

Actually Insider Area works on my PC (Chrome) but no on my phone (Safari).

Sad news, oh well I hope they can do what they intended to as I'm curious to see what they are having trouble with.

If this is supposed to be a Discovery series update on Airports, maybe they were intending to showcase EKCH Copenhagen, and then got the news that the airport had been closed, and the site converted into an outlet for large women's underwear, and a sausage factory?

I'm glad I never stayed up beyond midnight last night waiting for the update, it's the first time I haven't waited up for the update, maybe subconsciously I knew something was up at MS/Asobo's end.

Insider website is most likely under Microsoft's control. Enter the site's IT infrastructure plus Microsoft marketing people.

General information on development is under Asobo's control. Enter Asobo's marketing people.

They were going to release more info about partners. Enter partner's marketing people (and lawyers).

 

In my experience, when you get a whole bunch of marketing people's fingers stuck in the pie, plus IT issues, you typically get....missed deadlines.

Or put another way, multiple companies and continents often leads to unexpected logistics issues. Simple as that.

Following a link to another report, I found I was separately logged in to another Microsoft support account.  I logged out of it and was then able to log in to my Insider account.
