Add-ons which work in P3D V5

Recommended Posts

Question about moving the PMDG 737 NG to v5....once you make the registry changes does that make the NG unusable in P3D v4 ?  What about other PMDG products, will they also be done in v4?  Just trying to avoid unintended consequences.

95% of the ones I have tried seem to work with minor issues. Orbx (and kudos to them) have enabled all their catalogue, that were pretty much compatible, to be installable in to V5 using their addon centre from day 1. Others I have tried are UK2000's Gatwick and Edinburgh and with minor issues work ok

Brian

Here's a video of the above software working in P3dV5

I transfered the NGXu into v5. Everything works great, except the EFB. I cannot create the airport-database. Any suggestions?

I installed Alebeo's Seminole, sure wanted it to work, but most of interior was missing, I had dash, two seats, exterior was fine but fuel systems and mixture levers were borked.

FlySimWare released V5 installers for their Lear35A and Falcon 50 over the weekend. Two issues: There is a minor bug in the panel.cfg for both aircraft that prevents most cockpit annunciator lights from working. This can be easily fixed by editing the panel.cfg file per instructions on their support forum. Second problem is that all exterior lights are much too bright.

An updated installer that fixes both problems should be available today (20 April).

A bunch of old props which work in V5:

Flight Replicas North Star and DC-4, Just Flight DC-6 and expansions (you need to port it from FSX), FSAddon Bristol Freighter.

Tried the same with the 777 seems to work but PFD ND EICAS are very blurry... almost unreadable. Did you find a fix for that or is the NGXu different in that case? (Btw. I have installed the latest version)

Sent you a PM to show how to fix Blurry Displays

VOXATC 7.42 for Prepar3d V4 works in V5, with some minor use of symbolic links. See the VOXATC unofficial support forum here at AVSim for more information.

RealAir Duke, Turbine Duke, Legacy by pointing the P3Dv4 installer at the v5 directory.

Dave...when I run the installer, all Flight Simulator options are not allowing me to check them.  Any help would be appreciated.
