I purchased their 757 years ago for FSX and I'll NEVER make that mistake again.

Psychological pricing. It's $100!

Moreover if the VC was ported from the 757 (and it looks clear from the videos) it means significantly less dev went into this and it should be reflected in the price. Aerosoft is a good example with their pricing policy...

But again it is up to the dev to decide and our decision if to buy or not.

I like their 757 but with this price maybe I'll get the 767 during their yearly sale.

What a farce.

Is that what CaptainSim said? LOL put aside their crappy flight dynamics and crazy prices, i will never give my money to them just for that.

I'm again convinced they never learned from their past mistakes. What a major letdown, my favorite Boeing of all time murdered like this. Hopefully it'll go on sale in a year or so and i might then FINALLY get a 767.

EDIT: The bug threads are starting to be populated as well, autothrottle issues. But then again, they did say it was beta (not that they deserve any defense at this point).

What a farce.

Typical CS response to everything. I do notice one thing. They have racked up more negative reviews than any other developer for a release product. On FSElite they probably broke a record for most comments in the shortest period, 99% of it being negative.

Captain Sim are a joke. Wont ever support that company, as much as I want a 767 in the sim.

Apparently, they've released their beta for purchase. Lol.

I have to echo my disappointment as well. There is no way in hell I'm paying that price for a CS aircraft. They are not at the PMDG nor FSLABS level. Complete joke. I'll wait for their Christmas sale if they have one.

It seems odd that despite condemning Captain Sim, so many are prepared to buy it anyway. Is this only so that a whole new wave of abuse can be posted in the event of a sale, or is it a failure to recognise that if it hurts to do something, the best cure is to stop?

Also, from the standpoint of an observer, rather than an "expert", it seems odd to complain that the cockpit looks just like that of a 757 when apparently, Boeing designed it to be just like that of a Boeing 757. Perhaps more expertise is required to fully understand the nuances.

Seems that the, "..many who are prepared to buy it anyway", have commented that they would only do so during the sale. If you want to pay PMDG/FSLAB pricing for a CS product, go right ahead. Most (including me) don't think it is a justified price. When on sale, that obviously changes.

Thanks, do any of you know whether or not it is any good, since apparently no one is actually trying it?
