April 27, 20206 yr Texture reload time is awful. Hasn’t changed a bit from fsx days. Watch the v5 ngxu videos on YouTube. Takes forever for textures to reload when you switch views. Still feels like fsx. Vinod Kumar i9 10900K 5.3 Ghz, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM, Win 11. Alpha-Yoke, Bravo-Throttles, TM Joystick, TM-Rudder, 48" 4K TV.

You sign up, change a setting on your computer, restart and run Windows update. Pretty painless. YMMV. Meh...I'll wait for the official release. Most of the vids I look at were recorded in 4K, something we could only dream about in FSX whilst recovering from the latest OOM crash and the pathetic 3.4GB ram limit. 4K texture load for me loads quite well sure there is a delay but that occurs in any software that changes on screen reference points nowhere near as slow for me as it used to be. April 28, 20206 yr In other flight sims texture reload is instantaneous. I’m talking about 1080p not 4K. Show me a fully loaded v5 with all The usual Addons and show me a stutter free approach and no lag in texture loading. Right now the esp sims can’t do that yet. Sadly not even with v5. This is not true. I have a 4k monitor, and a fully loaded v5 with the usual addons and it is completely stutter free at all flight faces, including approach, and without any lag in texture loading. April 28, 20206 yr Well that’s good to know if it’s true. The vids I saw had terrible texture loading times even though FPS was okay. The guy had a beast of a pc overclocked to 5 gigs. Would be nice if one of you could upload a video of a fully loaded sim with no stutters or load time lags. Thanks. Vinod Kumar i9 10900K 5.3 Ghz, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM, Win 11. April 28, 20206 yr The texture lag occurs during changing views from Vc to wing view etc , if any of you want to test it on a fully loaded sim. Vinod Kumar i9 10900K 5.3 Ghz, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM, Win 11. Alpha-Yoke, Bravo-Throttles, TM Joystick, TM-Rudder, 48" 4K TV.

Sorry, I have never done a video of my flightsim, but you will find a lot of videos showing exactly the opposite of what you are suggesting. If there is something great about v5 is the stutters-free and great performance experience. There are other things which are being fixed right now but not performance. 1 hour ago, pao said: What are your settings (world/graphic) please ?
