just in case somebody missed it! Carenado released a patch for their aircrafts for v5!

just installed the XL560 and now the FMS works fine too!

The patch creates the required dll.xml with the entries for the Carenado dll's. This could be done manually, but the patch surely helps.

Works great with the ATR 42 and ATR 72. I've even added GTN to ATR 72. However, the D18S, and some others, are missing the panel and some wing textures in the VC. I hope they will provide a patch for that.

I don't think any are truly "fully working", are they?  In any version of any sim.  😜

Sounds like a similar issue that some were having trying to manually port the aircraft over...I wonder what the cause is?  I’ve only tried one so far (C208) and it worked for me, but didn’t work for others.

I found this as well, however, even though I do not have any of the products that Carenado say the P3D v5 patch is for, I installed it anyway and then installed the aircraft again. The Fokker 50 now works as it should.

Try installing the patch first.

Did any of you buy the EMB120 from Simmarket? I'm just curious if their installers have been updated yet.

Not sure you have fixed this but I realized that on my first install, I simply edited the install path from v4 to v5 (since the line was editable) and installed, but the installer didn't fully point to v5 and I had missing VC and wing elements. I re-installed this time using the browse button to point to v5 and voilà!

Also, not sure if this is particular to my setup or others have the same issue, when I load a Carenado/Alabeo aircraft with the basic GNS530, my FPS is horrible, in the 20's. However if I click on the upper-left 530 panel button ("C") they jump up to normal, 60 in my case as I use Gsync.
