Content Creators form - NDA close to being lifted?

The alpha is essentially test software that has missing/added features every build so it's incomplete and open for criticism. The last thing you want is a YT'ber criticizing your halo product before it's even in beta.

Agreed. I think tomorrow's update will state nothing about NDA relaxation. Indeed, nothing at all about how the Alpha is progressing.

I really think it will be about partners - in particular Thrustmaster - with their A320 sidestick and throttle quadrant that they Press Released today.

"No review yet though to fully judge it."

Actually I have already seen three reviews of it on the tube. And they have mostly good things to say about it.

I was referring to customer reviews, I can see Froogle has reviewed it but I’m always a bit sceptical of streamers reviewing products as am sure they are being paid to do so. That’s not to say it isn’t good.

Froogle busted himself very early on in the announcement of FS2020.

His credibilty is in shreds. Not that some of us thought he had that much to begin with.

He's a bit of a wild, desperate cry in the wind these days and hardly relevant to what's going on now.

Talk about the fox that lost his tail.

I'll say it again, I find it very unlikely they'll lift the NDA on the Alpha, ever. The Alphas are feature incomplete, would be missing things and give a bad impression on the product for those who don't know they're looking at Alpha screenshots. The screen shots you see in the weekly updates are probably curated to make sure they represent the product at it's best at this stage of development.

The Beta, if it has an NDA, I could see them being more likely to lift the NDA on eventually since Betas are normally feature completely and are just for testing and refining features.

Not at alpha stage, no. But they are planning to release the Beta next month, so...

I agree, what's the point of a watermark when posting photos on their official website, just credit the media beneath it with a caption..

Speaking of watermarks, are they there all the time or just added when testers upload them to MS's official site?

Well, I meant the nickname  .  (ie the dot). Gives a minimal intrusive watermark... 🤪

The watermark is in the actual sim, It can't be removed. It's to help track down leaks.
