Exciting times ahead.

That link looks very suspicious to me..MS has his own domains and so does MSFS so I am not really sure that link is safe.

If this was true, it would have been also posted inside the the MSFS forums for Alpha and developers and I don't see anything on those forums (I have access). I suggest we hide this link until the information can be confirmed as otherwise we might be exposing unsafe links for people that might be interested on this subject.

It's legit, coming from a moderator (super admin) and seems like someone from Microsoft, looking at the roles on Discord.

Well such accounts can be hacked sometimes. The link looks really weird, would you not agree? and why there is nothing inside the official MSFS forums software development section were all the 3rd party content creators like myself have access? neither on the rest of the forums where all alpha testers including 3rd party media vendors have access too?

Our developers NDAs clearly state the longevity of such NDA are for at least 5 years.. even after the product has been released. So this message looks very much out of ordinary to be honest.

bit.ly is a very common way to generate a friendly url from a long address. Yes bad things can happen on the internet but that link was posted in the official MSFS Discord by a moderator of that channel.

Ok I opened the link on a sandbox PC I have and the link is legit. This NDA being lifted is for media content creators as opposed to 3rd party DLC (add-on's) content creators which NDAs will remain still active. That would explain why there is nothing in our development forums, etc.

Since I've been unable to win the Alpha lottery yet, I'd absolutely love for the NDA to be lifted so I can see more content about the new MFS.  Being on the outside of the community has been rough, I just want to see MORE of the new sim while we wait for release.  🥺

I have one video but deleted my previous content so yeah I'm officially a small content creator 🙂

I would be shocked if the alpha NDA was lifted. It looks like the are doing a closed beta, at least initially. Maybe they are going to pick content creators to be included in the beta to have them ready as the beta progresses and production release nears. Just a hunch.

Hello and nice to meet a fellow content creator here. I also just let MS know that I'd be interested to produce more content on their platform. I have 3 xplane clips on my youtube channel with just about the same amount of views.
