Alpha tester here, they're talking nonsense. Don't mind people like them.

Yes perhaps, but we have major players (re: mods etc) in other sims reporting the flight dynamics are akin to a badly made arcade game.
Basically all show and no go so to speak.

Consoles have their own operating systems. While they might be based on Windows, they aren't and don't need to be the same. The Xbox Series X will not have Windows 10 operating system. The point being made though is a poster is stating it's not coming to Xbox One because they said it states Windows 10 only which it doesn't. Even so, from the very first release trailer, we knew it was a Windows 10 game as well as a Xbox One game.

It's a little more complicated than that. The current Xbox One runs both Windows 10, at least the core of it, as well as its own operating system optimized for games. I suspect the Xbox Series X will do something similar.

Guys, what do you think we can expect for total download time on the night of 17th going into the 18th? I’m just wondering whether to stay up for the night or leave it downloading until morning.

The load will probably also depend if it's released on Steam.

That's basically exactly what I said?

It doesn’t run Windows 10, it's based on Windows operating system but made for consoles.

That's irrelevant to the poster who stated it isnt coming to Xbox One because it states windows 10. I didn't want to get in depth of what operating system the Xbox runs, it's irrelevant.

Read it again. The Xbox runs two operating systems, one custom for playing games, and a second, specialized version of Windows 10 for other apps.

But yes, their do seem to be some people confused about what platforms it will run on, and what Xbox Game Pass for PC is.

I did.

It states -

"Hyper-V and Windows 10 based Xbox OS[1]"

It's a Xbox operating system based on Windows and Hyper. Which is what I basically said. Consoles have their own dedicated operating systems regardless of what they are based on.

We all know what this is really about ... the facts are P3D and XP simulate more real world activity and aircraft types than MSFS.  There are no helicopters in MSFS.  There are no military jets in MSFS.  There is no combat system in MSFS.  Water landings aren’t possible in MSFS.  The MSFS Airbus can climb to 38,000 ft on a single engine at 4000 ft/min climb rate.  Nothing happens when you freeze up (fully covered snowman) the MSFS DA, just lose engine power and slowly lose altitude.  Abuse the aircraft and nothing breaks in MSFS (no flap damage, no gear damage).  There is no multi-cha

Happy with MSFS 🙂
