8GB ddr3 memory 1.75ghz CPU ,GPU clock 853hz, you will be able to run it on a 10year old laptop then.

You're arguing with Microsoft, not me. They have already stated its coming to Xbox One. Not sure why we are having this discussion yet again.

Also the Xbox One X has better specs than the Xbox One.

It's still not clear on what you've been reading that states its only coming to Windows 10 and not Xbox One?

I'll be going for the premium version purely for the Latitude - anything else is a bonus, and anyway the cost difference does not really compare to what I need to shell out on a new system....

Perhaps I should start a gofundme....

I'm not arguing with anyone just reading Microsoft`s own release statement and the terms and condition`s on the Microsoft account, which i already have.

I’m guessing if you buy the standard ‘package’, you can upgrade anytime?

Which state what exactly?

New here, but been a long time simmer and lurker of this forum.

And have a question though, has any of the recent MSFS weekly updates shown what the default non premium scenery looks like?

i understand that they are going off satellite imagery so I’m assuming even the default airports will look pretty good?

this is my conundrum as I’m not sure what version I want to purchase.

Best advice is to go with what you can afford!

Which doesn't say "Windows 10 only" and "not coming to Xbox One".

So the question stands. What information have you been reading which state the above which are your quotes.

That's a good question. I'm in, too.

I thought about the Standard tier as it's the cheapest version, and I felt like what the odds would have been that I would visit the deluxe tiered- airport very often, but in my opinion, the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner alone makes the premium upgrade worth it, as well as the other planes you get. I think I'll get more value out of the planes being included than the scenery, although the upgraded scenery WILL be nice.

I had no idea the 787 would be included, as I recall not very many mentions by Microsoft. Pretty good idea, to have another "updated" product line to replace the soon-to--be-retiring 747-8.

Also something stands out while looking at the aircraft comparison chart(Sorry if it's been brought up before): Cessna 172 skyhawk G1000 is included in the standard version, but the default 172 Skyhawk is only available in the deluxe version. Shouldn't it be the other way around, since most people learn the default plane before learning G1000? Unless Microsoft really wants you to learn the aircraft with the newest hardware, etc

Not sure why ppl getting knickers in a twist about the in-game planes or airports. They are no where near study level so you may as well just plop $60 for the 'base' which has all the nice gfx and weather and azure world... and enjoy for default stuff until the 3rd party comes along.

Guess Premium, due to 787 and Heathrow airport. San Francisco another plus. Only disappointed that Dublin airport not one of listed airports, but least one Irish airport is represented.

One concern is airline liveries. Will they be available or just default liveries as in the past?

Everyone gets to become a paying Beta tester?

Perhaps. I feel the release is going to be in pretty good shape as a result of this timing announcement. I’m sure they feel pretty confident. Any issues that surface I think will be very minor and probably unnoticed by the majority of users. Let’s think positive and assume there will be no major patches or fixes. The preorder trailer is impressive!

Well, if they follow in the footsteps of elite dangerous, you will have to purchase the liveries! LOL
