I'm sure, that tree's height is mostly correct and only on some pics with a specific camera settings and position may appears too large. Definitely there isn't exist any global problem with tree's height and sorry, but it's very annoying to see your continuous complaints for problem, what doesn't exist. Lol, sure... search the forums, there are many complaints on the issue of tree size, and maybe book yourself in for an eye test 🙄 6 minutes ago, CoordinatorYS said: The trees are fully configurable in terms of density/area/size/species types. Don't call me an NDA breaker, posting this just to calm this trees hysteria down. Yes it (now) requires manual editing of the config, but I doubt there is one size fits all solution and I am glad this possibility to fine tune it exists. Excellent! 👍👏 Edited July 24, 20205 yr by MatthewS Matthew S

Continuous problem with eyes is on your side ;-). Can you show us some from newer alpha screenshots, with oversized trees?

Its time IVAO and Vatsim put their differences aside and merge. Its not very beneficial to have a split fork, when there is plenty of ATC spots are vacant and could be opened. Especially with this new partnership, anyone with IVAO flying MSFS will be missing out. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

So I know well, how may be manipulate the visual scale between closer and more distant object on screen, if position and zoom of camera si changed. Too bad you don't know the same. But I'm still waiting for some example of oversized trees from newer alpha shots 😉. For an example: if we have a plane in a foreground and some trees behind this, if I increase distance between the camera and plane and increase camera zoom at the same time, I get the plane in the same size, but trees behind this will greatly enlarge on screen. And you willn't able to decide, if trees are in correct scale or not. Edited July 24, 20205 yr by ludekbrno

We don't need 'complainers', who sees negativity in everything! We need 'improvers' who sees the positives and applaud the progression, which is made, while at the same time, continously sees room for improvements. 🙂

July 24, 20205 yr I'd like to add my own take on some of the negative views listed so far from this thread.(Glass totally full kinda guy) I know the update was a little light on detail but I'm massively excited with the team integrating VATSIM into the simulator. This could be the answer to the slighty dissapointing ATC implementation. My dream; that the integration is seamless, so you can fly in the online session, dropping into and out of controllled airspace with real controllers and then reverting back to MSFS ATC when no real life controllers are present. How cool would that be! A single flight plan, seamless! All we need now is a ground and flight school addon and we are helping new users understand aviation and perhaps creating a place where 'hardcore' simmers would be happy to fly with them. There are many different types of flyers afterall and all should be accepted. As to trees; really not bothered right now. Visually the sim is a massive step change from what we are used to that I will take some scaling issues and live with it. Fair winds! And please stop putting meaning or words into my mouth and deriving points, which I didn't intend. *SIGH* My point was simply, that we don't need negativity for the sake of negativity. Simply put, look at the bright side - it's much more productive, than always trying to find flaws and faults, without making some productive alternatives or suggestions instead... What's with you today? I used to have the upmost respect and joy reading your posts... Why are you suddenly so hostile? Oh well - you seemed to have your made your mind up. I won't be indulging your grudge or demeanor anymore... Have a nice day, sir. 🙂
July 24, 20205 yr Please stop the boring trees chat. OK it is what it is. Must every new update result in 500 posts about trees from a small number of people? 95% of readers who come here don't care. I am amazed at some of the criticisms and "I am glad I did not pre order there are going to be bugs". Please tell me the bug free flightsim you are using right now? If its p3d v5 its raining in your cockpit! Otherwise you are using something with graphics from 15 years ago. Msfs is hardly up against a high bar Edited July 24, 20205 yr by sanh
July 24, 20205 yr Nice that they are working on Pitch / Yaw Inertia and stability. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved

Two things should be avoided, systematic negativity and blind cheerleading. The truth is in between. Complaining belongs to this middle ground as does looking forward with anticipation to the new sim. The beer is on me🍻.
