Bah, I didn't want that response. It's basically telegraphing that they aren't gonna get all the issues fixed before release.

Given that even closed, offline sandbox games are regularly updated following launch these days, it shouldn’t be a surprise that a sim aiming to offer the most realistic representation of the world, its atmosphere, and various aircrafts’ surface interactions with both, will not be finished in a way that satisfies all corners of the simming community at launch.

Very few big games are EVER totally finished at launch. That’s probably a good thing.

Who knew a flat tire would bring me so much joy... 🙃

Seemingly such a tiny thing - but I absolutely hate seeing a tire balanced on a single pixel. Very glad to see this deformation 🙂

Looks good... except for size of some 🌲🌲🙄

That TBM video with the exhaust effects is 👍   The external engine sound is a little "weak" IMO, almost attenuated like through headset?

Yes, still not fixed.

Interesting that there is more evidence of branded AI. BAW, KLM and others in the screenshot with labels.

Maybe that's just the "callsign" from FlightAware (or whoever AI data provider is) ?

Is there any evidence of real world liveries, apart from the Iberia A320?

Complainers will always find something to complain about, no matter what. Others will simply play and enjoy the sim.

There apparently is a setting in the sim to change tree size and density

Lol, that’s not what the 🌲🌲🌲 means.

You can still become a “virtual” lumberjack and cut them down to the size that suits your eye. 😂😂

Really?  You're not just pulling my 🦵 ?

Ok that's sounds very promising then and hopefully also there are more "fine grained" settings in the ".ini" file (like scaling size and density per tree type).

I guess some people are easily pleased and have low standards.

MSF Team - Vatsim is one of the things that was holding me back from buying in....not anymore. Now please just implement TrackIR support...do you guys know how immersive it is to just move your head around 4ft away from a 50in 4k TV at .80 zoom in the VC? Come on gentlemen...this is the only thing holding me back now!

But there's no way - no possible way they could have corrected the entire planet plus dozens of complex aircraft for day one. Surely it is much better that they are committed to improvements over the long term? I expect to see issues. I also expect them to be addressed, where reasonably possible. And we don't know what the state of the sim will be on day one.

You make complete sense and I agree with you on all points. However, I kinda feel the same way as the guy you quoted. If im going to pay a good amount of money, all the big stuff needs to be solid and it needs to feel like a complete product. I am a tad worried that when we all start to play this thing, that it's not going to feel polished like it should for the money required to play. That's all.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

It's been 10 years since I had TrackIR, but doesn't it support all games in a "generic" fashion, like you can press a hotkey (to toggle freeview in FS and toggle TrackIR) and then move head which makes TrackIR move the mouse, which then is moving the FS camera?

So not ideal, and maybe you only get 2 axes of movement (since mouse only has 2 axes), but better than nothing?

Sounds like it's available.... sort of. Found this:
