Are there any Asian Scenery Footages?

Featured Replies

Kind of interesting that Tokyo looks so stunning (which is great, by all means) but London, Sydney, Washington DC look so bad comparably. It's everyone's guess that these iconic cities must be well taken care of at the very beginning, but they're not. I can only guess that MSFS is either going to have these cities updated upon launch or by the very first world update.

I saw a vid yesterday or the day before on China.  Looked great.

I've flown Tokyo, HK, Singapore, Taipei, Shanghai, Delhi, Mumbai, Manila and Jakarta. It's amazing to fly out of these cities and have so much detail.

This person posted a video of some Asian and Middle East cities.  The major Asian cities include Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Islamabad, Phuket, Taipei, Pyongyang, and the Taj Mahal:

I'm sure you'll get to see Vietnam and Bangkok next week :-)

May all your landings be safe ones!

Considering most of cities are on autogen, they look excellent. Tokyo, Taipei, Hongkong, Seol, Bali etc in particular look very impressive.

If anything, it's just too bad that there is no way that MSFS could use Google map. The autogen quality is obviously very much dependent on the aerial image quality.

Honestly, if you've seen one, you've seen them all as far as judgements of quality go. I mean that in the sense that they are all AI generated and the AI does not discriminate. It doesn't know how to discriminate.

The only exception is when ortho quality is really low. But you can go check that right now and get an idea of whether Vietnam has decent quality data or not. If it does, then the AI will do the same things you are seeing in Japan.

For the record, a new video:

Flight Simulator 2020 - 747-8 HARD Landing at Kansai International Airport - 4K HDR - PREVIEW BUILD

No Taipei 101? Weird considering it was the highest building in the world for a while and is still one of the most iconic Taipei landmark.
