Config files?

Featured Replies

So, what's the news on any config files that have been found, and what the contents look like that we can muck with?

it'll be over 10 hours from now that I can start downloading and I'm dying to find out.  Coming from FSX I just don't know what else are we actually supposed to DO with this sim????

Trust me, there is scope for tweaking form what I’ve seen so far flying around. It’s not the be all and end all, and I pity those on lower systems.

Unlike FSX. P3D & X-Plane of course! 🙄

It's a flight simulator, not a config simulator. So you don't need any config files.

This is a different breed of simulators now...I think the days of tweaking every single config line are behind us at least for now.

I have tweaked FSX/P3D1.3-5.0HF2 too much.  I am tired of doing that.  I am just gonna fly and give the finger to the tweaking till the cows come home.  Things have to change and they have.

Thanks, and it was a Tongue-In-Cheek question, gentlemen, hence the smiley at the end of my post.  Just going for a little lighthearted humor here, as anyone present during the release of FSX would recognize and appreciate I think.   I'm glad this is a different paradigm, so far.

Hope you have the Steam version. No way you will be able to modify the Microsoft files! (i have tried!)

How is it the same? It's a Steam game, it will not install encrypted or hidden files.

Okay good luck with that

Does the Steam version just run a launcher that installs it in the regular MS Store fashion or something?
