Load up MSFS 2020, then look at some youtube videos of P3D - it feels like staring at a sim from the 90s. Let me put a scenario to you. Let’s assumed you’re married. You and your wife have a child. Everything is great. Ten years later you have a second. But the first is no longer new and exciting. In fact, the child has faults some of which cannot be cured. Using your logic you would offer the child to foster parents because it has faults and you can only accept the latest newest child. Ridiculous eh? Of course. Just the same as your suggestion that P3D is no longer fit for purpose. By all means enjoy the new sim but don’t presume to tell me what I should do. I’ve been around long enough to know you never touch a new sim until several fixes and supporting software works properly. Ray (Cheshire, England). Sorry, but I am not going to ditch P3D with my favorite aircraft, avionics, and scenery any time soon. Awesome immersion.. sure. Default airplanes.. OK, but not up to the standards of my current fleet, especially in the avionics category.. Bert

OK.Just wire me the cash and I will happily "upgrade". But for now, I will stay with my very well padded out P3D which works extremely well. The only thing from Your post I agree is: "Imagine the sim in 6 months" That is when I'll even consider MSFS as an alternative. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

August 21, 20205 yr 9900k, 32gb, 2070s, 1080p recommended ultra. Great over San Fran, New York and Cairo so far. I don't measure frames, as long as I am happy with performance and visuals, it means little.

August 21, 20205 yr @Ricardo41 P3D is dead? P3D may not be the latest one out there, but some people are still valiantly using FS9 to good effect.... Well, I'm "stuck" with FSX:SE here on Win 7 because I need a new rig to run the latest sim. Granted, I may start crying if I watch any more VFR vids from the new sim as they are indeed wonderful, but hey, I recently landed a Blackburn Beverley (not available for MSFS) at Courchevel (LLH creations beautiful rendition) so I'm still having fun Mark Robinson Part-time Ferroequinologist Author of FLIGHT: A near-future short story (ebook available on amazon) I made the baby cry - A2A Simulations L-049 Constellation Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.2 Pilot.
