August 22, 20205 yr So has anyone pre-ordered the new Bravo Throttle Quadrant at $250? Looks like release day is Sept 1st. Really looking forward to this, My old CH quadrant is long in the tooth, and not supported by MSFS either.

They’re supposed to be shipping mid-October. A number of shops have put the quadrant on their sites for pre-sale anticipating the release, but Honeycomb isn’t officially opening preorders until Sept. 1st. Eric Szczesniak

August 22, 20205 yr Looking forward to this peripheral. Love the way you can customize it to suit various aircraft types. I must buy for me for sure. Anthony A. Moise
August 22, 20205 yr Ironically, sent Honeycomb an email today inquiring about the release date. I received a response indicating that the throttle will be shipped circa mid-October. I think it’ll be a nice hardware addition to our rig. Edited August 22, 20205 yr by Huascar
August 22, 20205 yr If this as good as the yoke I installed today then..Bravo! I9-13900kf - rtx4090 32gb ddr5 4800mhz, 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD internet - 300+ mbs / Honycomb Alpha yoke / Saitek Throttle Dell 43” 4K
August 22, 20205 yr I can't wait. I just hope they're manufacturing enough of them. I love my Alpha and am very excited about the prospect of the Charlie rudder pedals. I can't imagine they won't do what they've done with all their products and do something out of the ordinary with them. What that can be with rudder pedals.... August 22, 20205 yr I just recently found out about it a couple weeks ago. I will be pre-ordering for sure, it looks like the end all to throttle quadrants. ASUS Prime Z490-A / i7-10700K / RTX 4080 / G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB / Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic case
August 22, 20205 yr I have the yoke which is brilliant. In the process of installing the sim so will look forward to setting it up. I have put throttle on wish list with Aerosoft from whom I've had good service. I think they said it will be available mid October.

The default bindings have four odd extra bindings for magnetos that you need to remove for the Headingr bug to work right. These are assigned to buttons 31 through 34. The problem is, there are no such buttons. More strange is that this somehow causes the Heading bug to move 10 steps at a time instead of 1. Why? Who the heck knows, but it's easy enough to fix. Go into Controls, select the yoke, search for each entry and delete them. Save and you're done. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. August 22, 20205 yr Many thanks for that information. It will certainly save me much frustration. Much obliged. David
August 22, 20205 yr Commercial Member I should be receiving my Bravo Throttle Quadrant next week sometime (not taking the pending Hurricane into consideration) and all things being equal I'll have a review out by the following week (because I have to do some research, pull some stats and take the thing apart, etc.). But for now I'd like to tell you why I'm excited about this product getting out to our community! First, I personally hate calling it a Throttle Quadrant because it's so very much more than that! I very much like what @reignman40 said and I agree, in the price range of about $250 USD it certainly is the Throttle Quadrant to end all Throttle Quadrants (darn... did it twice more... LOL). Features:- Throttle quadrant for GA planes and airliners- Configuration options for single and multiple engines- Configuration options for piston and jet engines- Thrust reverser for two- and four-engine aircraft- Extensive autopilot- Annunciator panel with 14 lights- Gear switch and trim wheel- 7 programmable keys- 5-year warranty and free lifetime support- Mounting points and brackets for other Honeycomb and Saitek products- Designed and developed in California by pilots and aerospace engineers Can you guess which is my favorite feature? Well, there are two actually. The Auto Pilot Panel and the Thrust Reversers! Not that I don't love the other features too, in fact the only Saitek Panel (other than the small ones) I don't already have is the Annunicator Panel and since I'm an airliner guy that was a no-go for me, so I can't wait to check out how the Annunicator Panel functions in the Bravo - especially since i"m a heavy Maddog users (which has an Annunicator panel in the aircraft). Of course I absolutely love the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, but I've been truly excited about the Bravo TC getting out to the flight sim community since I saw it! Best wishes to everyone. August 22, 20205 yr I'm wondering just how much of that will be assignable in this release of FS. Reversers I'm not seeing how those will work unless you go FSUIPC (and word so far is that's not locked down yet) and a lot of other features that I'm not sure there's any connectivity options yet. I guess we'll see. Glad you're getting one. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.
August 22, 20205 yr I will watch the space with interest. Good luck with it. It seems we in Europe (Ireland for me) will have to wait until October, so we'll count on you to iron out all, if any problems!
