September 23, 20205 yr DJ, I reported all the lighting problems to Carenado in an email. We will just have to see what happens. I haven't noticed any sound problems. I can hear the landing gear and spoilers sounds. I think the spoilers just have a THUMP when deployed or retracted. I made a small pdf on the operation of the Altitude Preselector, it is a little screwy at times. hmmm. I can't upload a pdf. strange. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

Ray I checked and the overhead lights work with the knob on the yoke. I'm not sure if the switches on the door are working. The sound issue has been resolved. Don't ask me how. 😀 MSFS
September 23, 20205 yr One of the most under appreciated new features of MSFS 2020.. The icing effects.. I test each plane out eventually to see how its represented on that particular aircraft in the worst case scenario... Got to this today.. The Mooney is #2 behind the A5... Surely there is a dome light someplace to add enough light to see the O/H switches. I firewalled the throttle and Prop and tweaked it for full power. At 9,500 feet/60% Lean and came up with 183 TAS using the LNM tas readout. That is very close to book. I had to use the "fix" 3 times to coax it to fly straight. The Ground Traffic to Zero seems to have fixed the Avionics blackout, weird. \ Ray You can always use the flashlight, it works great. alt-L will toggle it. I agree a dome light to see up top would be great Edited September 23, 20205 yr by Daytona125 ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

September 23, 20205 yr Anyone else find the rudder virtually ineffective in the air? Seems fine on the ground. We will probably have to wait until OSOBO restores the ability to adjust the axis sensibility sliders. ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

September 23, 20205 yr No de-ice included in the Carenado M20R. The 1999 model on the ground they used for reference does not have any de-ice equipment installed. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
September 23, 20205 yr Well word not allowed, the Ground Altitude Density = 0 no longer keep the power on to the Mooney Avionics. I am dead in the water again. I did hear from Carenado this morning and he said they had resolved many of the niches and glitches on our list and they would be in the update they are compiling. No guess and what will be included or when it will be available. He also stated they were monitoring this forum. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
September 23, 20205 yr @raymar Ray- I am SO GLAD to hear that... I have fond memories in both a 201 and a Johnson Bar... and am looking forward to adding this to my stable. I am typically not a Carenado purchaser, however, to give credit where credit is due... I adore their Waco. Until several things get ironed out, GA flying in MSFS seems to be the ticket, and so I shall look forward to the upgrade announcement. Thank-you for your dialogue with Carenado. Glad they are working on the issues and paying attention at AvSim; I just hope they are able to sift out the wheat from all the chaff :). On another note, it was great reading about your time with Roy... an icon of American aviation. C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

September 24, 20205 yr @DJJose Jose- Do you start both MSFS and FSUIPC with a BAT file or do you start them separately. This Sim is an entirely new beast in so many ways! Ta- C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

I did not venture into that option. MSFS
