I got the runaway VOR gauges when I tried to use the flps with the mouse when FSUIPC stopped working.

I just start with ready to fly and go do some flying. I use external controllers to control the plane and try not to use the mouse buttons. The wheel works fine. The AP seems out of wack too. I guess I'm lucky right now.

Well not really considering how many issues your describing 😄 but yea, it seems to be a combination of stuff that makes the knob go mental. I fly in europe and vfr, wich means my squawk will nearly always start with a 7. Cant really ask the ivao or vatsim atc to give me a code without a 7 in it lol. Of course i could fly something else, but i bought the word not allowed thing half of the price of the sim, i dont want to not fly it. (for now im flying the improved G36, the non turbo one, its amazing, but i NEED steam gauges, sick of the cheating G1000 :D)

Or get an Arduino and program up some buttons and encoders in Mobiflight - perfect control of heading etc without resorting to mouse.  More realistic, and let's me keep flying fav plane until its all fixed.

I have no idea what any of those words mean 😄

Mobiflight allows you to create custom hardware controls, which can be as basic or fancy as you desire.  I'm still learning how to use it, but in the meantime have a few switches and encoders plugged into a basic Arduino board for tweaking my Autopilot heading, setting landing and taxi lights.

Geez, wish i had time for that! But do you have to do the hardware bit from scratch? Like creating your own buttons, knobs, led and stuff? Looks interesring tho.

I have enough hardware that fortunately I can fly the aircraft almost without touching anything in the virtual cockpit.  The only issue I’ve run into was a runaway knob on the altimeter that kept on bringing it down to the minimum setting.  That happened only on one flight.

My GoFlight RP48 was my go to for pushing buttons an turning knobs. Need to buy GIT or use FSUIPC7. Up until now I've relied on my mouse.

MSFS

I use GIT, well worth it and works well on my MCP PRO and EFIS.

I’m less upset, don’t think it’s criminal... just a current byproduct of the evolving Sim. I have been heartened by @Carenado’s communication, even if it is not here... and believe patience is a virtue.

There’s a lot to fix throughout the MSFS Ecosystem.

I was pretty critical of Carenado’s efforts/approach in P3D but this Mooney (temporary issues aside) is quite good, and I find myself really looking forward to the Seminole.

I agree I'm loving the Mooney in spite of a few issues caused by the last MS update it's still quite flyable.

Dont get me wrong, without the issue its an amazing plane, the one i fly the most, wich is why im gutted right now.

I trust we will all survive, and hope @Carenado is worthy of our trust also.

I'll get over it eventually 😁

I found a way to increase the default cockpit zoom out

For me, it looks much better

carenado aircraft m20r Ovation\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado_M20R_Ovation

CAMERAS.cfg file

InitialZoom =0.35

I have it now at 0.45

I can't let it go. I've tried. Aside from the Turbo Bonanza, I can't stop marveling at the VC. I also love the way it flies, the way it reacts to the speed brake, and my landing are butter with my new yoke. Too bad the dev has issues.
