I just position the camera up higher in the cockpit and forward (right-alt-up arrow) and I get the no instrument view, like the one in XP. November 3, 20205 yr Carenado just posted on Facebook on the next steps for fixing the issues that happened after the last patch... “Hi again everybody.... We have been in contact with Asobo and looks like problems with our aircraft after the last update were due to an issue with the simulator. They are working on it and will patch it in the next days. We will wait until the next update to test our aircraft before working in a new version of them....” Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

November 3, 20205 yr Author This is good news. I'm finding more and more issues with my beloved Mooney after the latest MSFS update. MSFS
November 4, 20205 yr I have been on the fence about getting the Mooney because I was afraid Carenado would not keep up with the pace of development of the sim. Right now they have 2 aircraft and haven’t fixed them (Working Title mods have fixes within hours for comparison) what happens when there are 5, 8, 10 aircraft in sim?

M$ shouldn't have released the sim 6 to 9 months before it was done, and they should have thought ahead about how to avoid breaking 3rd party aircraft that were sold on the official Marketplace whenever they update the sim. (For example, creating the SDK in such a way that there are versions of the API and add-ons written against the old version of the API could continue to call their respective versions after new versions were released - something Windows has to deal with all the time. Hell, even the free Orbiter Space Flight Simulator does this where new extensions to the Vessel API are instanced as Vessel, Vessel2, Vessel3, Vesel4, so that old add-ons can continue to work on new versions) Nothing will kill this thing quicker than people spending extra for stuff, on an official marketplace that gets broken every 2 weeks. May that as it be - but why can the authors of mods update their mods within hours and yet Carenado not do the same? Maybe the answer lies in that seldom, and many times ever, did Carenado support their products after the sale. The Proline in none of their Jets in FSX/P3D ever worked correctly for instance.

Because in this case Carenado isn't to blame but Asobo, with there latest released patch and they are working on a hotfix again. It's a real disapointment that every time that there is a new patch other things get broken over and over again. And if you dont hang around forums, there is no one telling you its not gonna work. I think the marketplace should be closed at every update, and then partially reopened to products that still work. I was laughed at and tried to be ridiculed when I stated after the update before the last that ASOBO needed to get their act together because each update is breaking freeware mods and payware add-ons. Now that I think about it's likely that those people who do not like it when we criticize ASOBO probably don't buy add-ons. They are happy with default MSFS. Both of these devs need to get their act together. MSFS

Both of these devs need to get their act together. I understand what you'r saying. And you'r probably right saying that if your an adept of mods, freeware or payware, each update is pretty nerve racking, not knowing in what state your sim is gonna be after it (not counting all the bugs that also affects defaults MSFS).
November 4, 20205 yr As @Ron Attwood said, UNTIL the sim is fully developed, and the SDK robust and stable, it is what it is. That said, @Carenado needs to get its act together, and respond in a TIMELY manner so that people who have spent money with them, do not get left out in the cold. They should be part of each internal beta (I hope) but even if not, a few days should have things sorted. Then, MS/Asobo should prioritize getting those updates into MSFSMP so that they too are assisting in customer care. That is NOT THE CASE at the moment. It will be SEVERAL MONTHS before the sim begins to approach a stable state... the better each COMMERCIAL vendor can take care of its customers, the more this sim will flourish. After all, they can take a lesson from @kaosfere and the Working Title Team, @robert young, the FBW A320 Team and so many more FREEWARE DEVELOPERS that burn the midnight oil to take care of their "user base" without pecuniary privilege.
