Australia incinerates, half the population of the planet either lost their job or had to go into isolation, meanwhile, on Venus, it seems there is quite probably some alien life, then, just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any more bizarre, Carenado become everyone's favourite developer 🤣

Not everyones, Chock.  They are still on my Most Disappointed List.

How are we support to fly precision approaches when the Heading and Course selections are in 10 degree increments. Geez Louise.

This is an issue with your setup, it works fine here, 1° increments.

I also found Geforce Experience had 'optimised' my MSFS settings today.  I reverted it and reset my own settings.  Much better,

How do I find out if Geforce optimised my MSFS settings? I've looked and I don't see anything obvious...

It's one small step for most companies, one giant leap for Carenado.... The fact that they actually patched not one, but two of their products at all, regardless of the content, is in itself a massive leap forward for them.

And the C182 has been patched twice now!  Can't believe it!

If they carry on like this, the Apache and Navajo (either Navajo) will be an instant buy for me.  Alebeo did some of course.  Are they one and the same company or just closely related?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I can confirm Synth vision is working on the Cessna (even if it shouldn't for this model 😁).

I have the G1000 mod installed of course.

I thought it wasn't working at first, as the bottom of the screen goes completely blue to start with, but it just takes 5 or 6 seconds to load up the terrain.

I think Alabeo was originally sort of intended to be 'budget' version of Carenado, although it never really panned out like that.

If you bring up the Geforce screen and click on MSFS on the left hand side (in the list with all of your other games), it will show the 3-D settings in a list, but will say 'optimized' in a green box.  You can also then click on 'revert' to get rid of the setting.

Alabeo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carenado. Shared offices, shared management, etc.

You are correct, Alabeo was going to be a lower tier with simpler aircraft and Carenado the upper tier with the more complex aircraft.  I think that changed when Alabeo got their first Avsim Gold Star award and Carenado was still looking for theirs.

Alabeo will not be a dev for MSFS, Carenado only.

Right!  No I agree, they were both about the same price and quality.

Carenado/Alebeo were always a great visual model and a good fly, even if lacking some depth and accuracy.  I flew them to death in FSX though, along with the Aerosoft Airbus.

I am really enjoying the C182 and Mooney though, so I hope they keep it rolling.

It's the wrong model 182T for Synthetic vision, It was introduced some 5 years later.

If would keep my RL 172 same way as it was released in 1984 I wouldn't have GNS, G5, and ADS B!

The G1000 Mod adds synthetic vision to the Carenado 182T. I prefer to have it as modelled without.

All good. 👍  Your choice.

You don't have to activate it though!  The G1000 mod activates lots of other content that is useful - you could just ignore the synth vision.  It is buried about three menus/button presses deep anyway.
