Can't believe it! If they carry on like this, the Apache and Navajo (either Navajo) will be an instant buy for me. Alebeo did some of course. October 1, 20205 yr I can confirm Synth vision is working on the Cessna (even if it shouldn't for this model 😁). I have the G1000 mod installed of course. I thought it wasn't working at first, as the bottom of the screen goes completely blue to start with, but it just takes 5 or 6 seconds to load up the terrain. If you bring up the Geforce screen and click on MSFS on the left hand side (in the list with all of your other games), it will show the 3-D settings in a list, but will say 'optimized' in a green box. You can also then click on 'revert' to get rid of the setting. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). October 1, 20205 yr Alabeo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carenado. Shared offices, shared management, etc. You are correct, Alabeo was going to be a lower tier with simpler aircraft and Carenado the upper tier with the more complex aircraft. I think that changed when Alabeo got their first Avsim Gold Star award and Carenado was still looking for theirs. Alabeo will not be a dev for MSFS, Carenado only. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

No I agree, they were both about the same price and quality. Carenado/Alebeo were always a great visual model and a good fly, even if lacking some depth and accuracy. I flew them to death in FSX though, along with the Aerosoft Airbus. I am really enjoying the C182 and Mooney though, so I hope they keep it rolling. You don't have to activate it though! The G1000 mod activates lots of other content that is useful - you could just ignore the synth vision. It is buried about three menus/button presses deep anyway.
