Carl has there been any information that it's an upgrade? I haven't seen anything like that.

Not sure it's anything to do with an update (unless you have some other info on this?). More likely a technical issue with the website or it's got some child DDos ing it.

The forum started having problems for me last night (Friday). The browser connects to flightsimulator.com, but just loads an empty page.

yes I see that too. Chrome just says that the site won't work. Error 500.

flightsimulator.com works but forums return empty page.

This is on in the NE USA.

Well, that’s one way to deal with the constant parade of critical posts. 😉

Either the forum software has crashed, or they have been the victim of a hack or DDOS attack. Maybe the forum software was undone by a Windows update. 😂

I haven’t tried running MSFS today, but whatever problems the forum is having shouldn’t affect the servers that provide streaming data to the simulator. BTW, there is not just “a” server involved. I have monitored the TCP/IP connections that MSFS makes when it is running, and it typically is connected to at least 5 discrete IP addresses continually - sometimes even more.

Yesterday I could not use the MSFS forum and I could not fly on-line so I could not select off-line mode either.

Today:

I can fly on-line.

The forum is still not working.

 

Have y'all submitted a Zendesk ticket (https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and select "Forums and Website")?

Is the real weather borked too? I am getting reports at EGNT of 28KNTS, when its only light and variable really....

The sim is running fine, real WX works fine as well.

flightsimulator.com is working but forum is still a blank, in NE USA.

Just flew Kastrup to Oslo in real WX worked great, beautiful sunset over the archipelago with some clouds to enhance the scenery. Whitecaps on the sea was perfect as well, calm as I approached Oslo.

Flew the AM-399, fantastic model.

they might update the forum, before down i notice few arrangement in forum topic or maybe to add hidden topic for VR beta...

Maybe they are just removing the "Press any key" prompt to load the forums faster but hit the "delete" key when testing 🤪 (can't resist this one)

More seriously I just hope this is just a glitch or they are just updating the forums servers!
