Sim brief will program in your TOD, so I follow that and usually start out 2000FPM and then adjust. Just got a whole lot easier with the banana indicator now. Until VNAV is deployed this is the best way. FLC is great for climbs but not particularly useful in descent. 5800X3D | Radeon RX 6900XT

When I change from FLC to VS it goes to 0 FPM, which causes the plane to IMMEDIATELY stop the descent until I can roll the wheel to -2,000 FPM. Surely that's not how the real plane works? Correct it should do that but doesn't yet. It will eventually... 5800X3D | Radeon RX 6900XT

November 10, 20205 yr Does anyone know if the COM 2 radio works? Attempts to listen to ATIS through this COM hasn't worked for me, so I'll assume it's not working unless I hear otherwise. Curt Branch
November 10, 20205 yr Having real fun with this mod but is anyone else really struggling to land this thing? It seems coming in bang on vref the plane just wants to float all day long during the transition, I do pretty well with most other aircraft. If I come in under vref always in danger of stall, does anyone have any tips?? Thomas Derbyshire

Make sure that you do not forget to add the weight of passengers and cargo when calculating Vref in MCDU. I did a flight to Wellington today with real weather. The landing was very soft and exactly on the runway signs. And Yes, I'm also very impressed with this mod in version 0.7.1. I missed VOR / DME navigation so much before. November 10, 20205 yr Just tried a flight post patch: Noticed the FP line is now missing on the displays, as are the requisite WP's. Otherwise flies great and seemingly less taxi friction for ground handling. SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

November 11, 20205 yr Post latest patch my FD / FMS navigation seems to not want to work, everything else works fine but FMS based navigation never actually does anything (shows on display etc but never changes aircraft direction). Heading, VOR etc work, right up until landing when the approach mode decided nope, going to show the ILS, diamond etc but not actually action it... Tried twice and it did it, cycled every system just in case, nothing. Still going to look into it more tonight. Janet Virtual Airline MSFS2020 / XPlane i9-9900K, 1070Ti, 32GB Ram, Honeycomb Alpha
November 11, 20205 yr If the devs are able to make the cockpit less cramped, I would be really happy. If not, it's still a great airplane! See video for details. Edited November 11, 20205 yr by Andreas Stangenes Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78

November 22, 20205 yr wow....what an outstanding mod !! So I've watched the fmc video and have successfully done a couple of ILS approaches, but wondered where the development is on the RNAV approaches. Thanks to the developers for all their excellent work !
