I had the same problem when I checked this box the problem went away. The problem was that the marketplace tab opened OK, it was not greyed out, but the 'purchase failed' at the end. Checked the Enable Overlay box, no more problem. I learned it here in the forum from others soon after MSFS was released. The other trick was the don't run the executable 'as administrator. That was the cure for a greyed out marketplace in MSFS.

I have had a pleasant 3 hours in X-Plane today flying VFR in the beautiful Thandra DHC-2 Beaver exploring ORBX Nth California but I really appreciate you taking the trouble to post your suggestions.

I'm watching the mailbox for my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle which tracking tells me left Frankfurt de on the 22nd Dec so I will have a long awaited new toy to play with till someone gets back to me from support.

I also log onto Windows as admin, and probably installed FS2020 as admin as well. But just running it as NON admin makes the Marketplace orders work for me. After order went through and is installed I go back to running it as admin again.

Thanks for the suggestions. Fielder I'm not on the steam version have the digital download version and don't have an issue with the marketplace being greyed out and previous to the last USA+ update could record an aircraft on my wish list which now also appears to have disappeared.

republic3D - mate I tried logging in under my user account but as I had installed under administrator it wouldn't permit a shortcut to be created. When I went into my Microsoft store account which shows the program listing noticed it has a notation along side that it must be run as administrator. Win10 Pro is not my friend.

I think I will end up having to re-install but will wait till the holiday season is over and I get full bandwidth back again. Once again thanks for your suggestions much appreciated - Happy flying - Cheers Pete

Yes, it broke the HSI. Now it doesn't move at all. Even with a reinstall of the PA44.

Strange.  I updated mine last night and took it up for a spin.  I could swear it was working fine.  

For this specific case of yours, I believe I saw a fix early on in this thread somewhere.

I fixed it by doing this twice:

Delete from Content Manager, close sim, then delete folder in Official/Onestore folder. Then reinstall PA44 in Content Manager.

That didn't help.

So I repeated the step with restarting computer in between, and now it works. 

Just flew it after latest update and had no issues, a real pleasure to fly actually.

After last update it seems flies a bit better. I didn't look at POH, but as far as I remember it's about right

The HSI’s CDI to GPS coupling is now finally alive and working as expected per POH.

I really like it and prefer it to the default Baron.  It has no major vices, and is nice and stable.  Easy to fly and trim.

It is Carenado, so of course it is beautiful to look at, and the sounds are good also, but just don't expect study level. 

Personally I don't know what the definition is of study level is anyway, but I would guess this still models 85-90% of the main systems, which is easily enough for me, and I don't regret buying it.

You can search and find  several review on this forum.

 In short, Carenado PA44 give you ability to feather the prop, lose control below Vmc, which all default twins are lacking. Since we have no competition in this department at the moment, Seminole is OK but lie bobcat999 wrote it's not a study level
