Henrik Nielsen's Global AI Ship Traffic for MSFS

Do we know if the installation will be as easy as dumping a folder in the Community directory?

They were only disabled an update or 2 ago according to Henrik. Had nothing to do with this.

Yes, I know.  Sorry I should have made this clear, I wasn't blaming him.

MS / Asobo removed the wakes for some reason during an update as you say.
One of the problems is the amount of undocumented changes during updates.  If they just told us their thought process it would be good.

It should be as it was last time, and he has just updated models so they show properly.  A few where just white or not showing textures.  It looks like he has added a lot more content though.

Well Martin, that is a great idea.   I'm going to download it and give it a try!

The Tall Sailing Ships - do they depart from ports on certain days of the month at a particular [local] time?

& are they in the Round The World Race?

If so , where is the race now?

Thanks

Try south of Sandefjord Torp, Norway every evening after 18:03 UTC or between Guersey and Saint Malo daily leaving Saint Malo in the morning arriving at Guersey in the evening.

You probably know this by know, but yes, all the models with BMP textures or DDS textures with DXT5 causing transparency issues were corrected for the MSFS version. Still we will have to take all models through a larger update to get PBR and real emissive textures, but that will be the next round.

Thank you for the tip.

Located them sailing line astern from left to right, about half way between LFRD & EGJB, at 6.08am UTC.

I believe that I read somewhere that ship traffic could only be displayed at sea level.

Boat traffic in MSFS is only at sea level. So, you're not going to see any because they'd be under water.
