Oh boy oh boy! Could you point me to fslabs Airbus for MSFS? Or Maddog x for msfs? Where can I get these airplanes for msfs? Any chance you could post a link to their purchase sites? I’ve been waiting for a solid quality airliner in msfs. I’m super excited to finally see them released. Who needs PMDG anyways.

thanks in advance!

My guess is you’ll hear crickets.

PMDG keeps talking and talking, others are releasing and fixing. Guess who'll get the $$?

Like Carenado? Who releases, then with an update becomes crashware for 3-4 weeks. Perhaps PMDG doesn’t want the negativity of that associated with their products. I know I am frustrated that I can’t fly my Mooney and it’s not Carenado’s fault.

Can anyone remember if PMDG made their first add on within first 3 month after FSX was released?

So How's Aerosoft moving along so rapidly with the CRJ then...?

Do they have better intel and working relationship with ABOSO than PMDG or is their new AC going to be like the stock MSFS AC?

Chris Camp

I was kicking myself for not buying the NGXu during the upgrade/discount period, but now that it seems so far off into the future, it bothers me less. No worries anyway, there is still P3dv5 until PMDG releases for MSFS.

It is what it is. I am sure they are doing the best they can.

*Hopefully* this will also mean that the 3rd party planes work entirely through dedicated SDK functions, rather than some of the DLL kludges and other means that were used to inject unsupported functions into FSX. The very fact that Asobo are working with PMDG and adding functions to their SDK hopefully means we end up with a much better end product, and options for more and better things in the future. A year is a long time, but plenty of GA fun to be had in the meantime 🙂

Aerosoft has an unfortunate tendency to speak before thinking.

Plus the more default systems you use, the faster you can get out the aircraft.  See also Carenado.

Everyone here knows the FBW320 is not "study level" yet. Stop it.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Hmmm, I think I'll take my clues from this guy. Then, again, what does he know, he's only "a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft."😄

I am glad to see Asobo is listening and adjusting as needed.  It sounds like they all are working together to make this happen.  Its a new platform for the most part and they are all busy learning a lot I am not terribly surprised.  Personally disappointed at what this means for the timeline of high quality payware crafts but not surprised or upset by it.

Well, first of all - it's not out yet, isn't it? Then there's complexity: Aerosoft claims - and I'm absolutely fine with it - their aircraft "only" covers daily operation, no failure simulation like PMDG, FSLabs and such. And don't forget: All these developers are willing to tell us is driven by marketing thoughts first of all. RSR told us fantastic things about MSFS and how well the collaboration with Asobo was going - and got 99 $ out of our - oh wait, it's mine too - my wallet with the promise of a quick update for the NGXu for MSFS. Mathijs Kok still won't stop to praise the collaboration with Asobo, yet he's mum when it comes to specific dates, not to speak of their Airbus, probably a bit more complex systemwise than the CRJ. Don't get me wrong. I fully understand where they stand and I don't blame them. But I have for sure lowered my expectations, as i had to realize that they were way too high, even for the base sim MSFS in the first place. Time will tell.

I will buy from PMDG only MD-11 which was my first "study level" airliner. 😃
