Anyone notice Carenado's next offering?

Featured Replies

Carenado sure makes nice looking aircraft!

Darn! I’m hoping for a Cessna 206, but I’ll probably be waiting a while... 😔

Would be sweet in VR.

I held out on the Mooney, for the bugs to be worked out and reviews to come in. It was a good purchase. I really like it. In fact, its really all I fly now with the GNS530 mod. Pretty fun bird... and 180knots+ over the ground at 13GPH... wow.

Now that you say that, I noticed their new P3D offerings dried right up.  I don't think anything is in the pipeline.

I wonder if the still fix current models

Had never considered VR until MSFS and this weeks update...

The P3D market in general has slowed CONSIDERABLY. That is the professional developer’s challenge- the old way is drying up, and the new is both unfamiliar AND exposed to the world. These “pseudo-ports” are meant to keep the revenue stream flowing while it all sorts itself out.

I did LIKE THE WACO and so will probably purchase once vetted by a trusted reviewer. Hey @raymar, do you love the world framed between two wings, like I do??

Carenado? No.

Thank you.

Not so much anymore.  I am gravitating toward some high flying speed bird with a lot of documentation. Recently I have been focused on the Aerosoft/DA CRJ700.  Looks like it might be overload in printed manuals (pdf) + brief videos, but it looks like a new from scratch model, new flight dynamics (by none other than Alexander Metzger ) and a super detailed flight tutorial (pdf for self printing) - flying from Aerosoft headquarters to Paris. EFB included with TOLD cards, verbal callouts - 80 kts, v1, rotate, positive rate will be nice to hear again.

It could be available just around the corner. Then again, we have to see what arrives from Asobo in the Christmas update on Tuesday the 22nd. 🙃

Ray

I don’t know about this, their aircraft  are on par with default and they offer models not in sim, so they have a place.

Lots of people on the forum love the Mooney and I quite enjoy the 182.

So for those that don’t expect anymore system depth than default their products provides other airframes so they are not totally out of the question in my book.

With just a small amount of trepidation, I will likely spring for this. It'll make a nice change.
