December 29, 20205 yr I was flying today and the winds were knocking me all over the place (it was in a Cub so that didn't help. I was tempted to hit Shift+Z to see what the conditions were, then remembered that doesn't work anymore. It was bad enough that after making a terrible landing the wind flipped my little plane over.
December 29, 20205 yr Yeah I wonder if someone could write a little script to get the Dev mode FPS to show with a KB command? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
December 29, 20205 yr Can't believe how many times I've had to catch myself out of force of habit...!
December 29, 20205 yr I use the Nvidia apps frame rate counter...shows the same as the Asobo one, but only shows FPS and not the other information. I agree, I miss the old keystoke too.

December 29, 20205 yr Microsoft and Asobo are just trying to make the experience more realistic. You can't just push Shift+Z in a real airplane.

You also cannot pause a real airplane to get a sandwich, but does that mean they should make it so that we have to pack our lunch before we start the sim. They should have had a 100% realism mode for those that wanted it, you set to 100% real flight, forces no pause, nothing is different than a real plane. Get up to use the restroom and you will miss an ATC radio check and you lose your sim pilot license 😛 AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

December 30, 20205 yr So in the tray is an Nvida icon. Right click and choose GeForce experience. In the settings there is an HUD option. Chose FPS and location. This is close to the procedure but I'm not sure of the details.
