January 30, 20215 yr That video was great, didn't realise just how big orbx are, such a different world to sim racing where i come from! Speaking of Orbx, anyone know why they don't have an official Discord channel? I see they have one for the Volanta Beta but not a Public one. January 30, 20215 yr I assume this is why Barton is getting tarted up in the forthcoming UK update for MSFS; presumably it uses what was the model from the Orbx XPlane add-on as a basis for this. Edited January 30, 20215 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
January 30, 20215 yr DJJose, Interesting video. Thanks for posting. So many talented people give hope to the future of MSFS. Jim Morgan
January 30, 20215 yr Notice the helipad with ground crew at 7:00? Maybe they will get rotary wing done sooner than they've forecast....
January 30, 20215 yr I hope Orbx step up their game. I feel that their MSFS releases lack the same attention to detail that their FSX releases had. Many of their MSFS airports feel a bit lifeless.

January 30, 20215 yr Thanks for posting this video. I have been a major orbx supporter in P3D and will continue to be so for MSFS.
January 30, 20215 yr The trailer is one long advertisement, with little substance. Edited January 30, 20215 yr by Ricardo41
January 30, 20215 yr There are currently 752 international and 930 regional freeware airports listed on flightsim.to. The urge to purchase addon scenery just isn't there at all.

The problem is many small to medium regional airports are good enough to fly into and out of the way they are, not worth investing in. In addition the immersion is great because they offer no stutters on landing, taxing and takeoff. Many of the large airports are already very good. Look at KATL I purchased it when if first came out and MSFS updated that Airport. If I have it activated everything is jerky, using the default MSFS KATL very smooth and more than realistic enough for my needs Give me KHAF, KPDK, KSER, KGRR, KAPA, and so on, then I will buy them My opinion is addon Scenery for Large Airports has already seen better days for Orbix and any others.
